I think the greater display of Flash's speed is that he outran Death. Literally. Death even turned into a black-costumed spectral version of Flash to try and catch up, but Flash ran TO ANOTHER DIMENSION OR SOME SHIT.

In an episode of Justice League, After all the motherfuckers had been taken out by Lex Luthor. Flash goes ape shit and runs around the world 4 times and hits Luthor from all sides. After being a motherfucking bad ass and defeating Luthor he starts to drift into some portal. That portal was sending him through time. He went faster than the speed of light to beat that motherfucker. Flash is always the best.
