i realized something recently... there apears to be a pattern to the remakes of pokemon generations. i'll try to be as concise as possible.

gen 1: Gameboy (gen 1) --> Gameboy Advanced (gen 3)
gen 2: Gameboy Color (gen 2) --> DS (gen 4)
gen 3: Gamboy Advanced (gen 3) --> ??? (???)

If the cycle continues, it appears we may get that Gen 3 remake we've been waiting for pretty soon.
