why do i feel that there is more butthurt from the people who think people are buthurt,
well it is america so cant blame them for thinking they they're the best its their exceedingly high arrogance
no matter how much you through facts down the there throats
"yeah well that country is smaller"
"fuck yeah"
"i would think of a lodgical argument but i cant seem to get it passed this ginormous ammount of weight im carrying around with me"

actually new zealend is the most "free" place to live in, whereas america on the same survey turned out to be 7th

User avatar #99 to #52 - capslockrage ONLINE (01/20/2013) [-]
Untrue, that was a survey based on idiotic people in new Zealend, not off facts.

In new zealend they ban games because they are too violent, that = not free.
User avatar #204 to #99 - epicextreme (01/20/2013) [-]
OH well then, the games are banned! that only means noone is free! damn that really tears a whole in my comment
User avatar #205 to #204 - capslockrage ONLINE (01/20/2013) [-]
No, but them choosing which games people play is a sign that they aren't truly free.
User avatar #206 to #205 - epicextreme (01/20/2013) [-]
i dont think the research was based on gaming, games aren't relevant in how free a person can is.
User avatar #208 to #206 - capslockrage ONLINE (01/20/2013) [-]
What the hell are you talking about, a government choosing which games a person can play, is them being controlling, which takes away freedom, it doesn't matter the subject if they are choosing whether or not you can do it.
video game or personal preference on something, doesn't matter.
User avatar #209 to #208 - epicextreme (01/20/2013) [-]
a goverment choosing what games people can and can not play does not determine that in every matter the person isnt free at all the choice of a person playing a game in the subject of freedom is a little blip in the research. theres more to a persons life than games.
User avatar #210 to #209 - capslockrage ONLINE (01/20/2013) [-]
You're a fucking moron, just because it isn't an important part of life doesn't mean your government should dictate everything you can do on it.
User avatar #211 to #210 - epicextreme (01/20/2013) [-]
your being really ignorant here, did i say i was dictating anything? you just cant handle something being taken away from you. i'm assuming you're an american due to the fact you can't handle being wrong and will in turn try and pull every useless card out your pocket to make yourself feel right.
User avatar #212 to #211 - capslockrage ONLINE (01/21/2013) [-]
You're*
And no, i'm not being ignorant, nor did i say YOU were dictating.
THE AUSTRALIA FUCKING GOVERNMENT DICTATES WHAT THEIR CITIZENS CAN, AND CANNOT PLAY. THIS APPLIES TO MANY OTHER THINGS IN THEIR CULTURE AND NOT JUST VIDEO GAMES.

And i can't handle something being taken away? Sorry i just enjoy having freedom, you fucking commie.
User avatar #207 to #206 - epicextreme (01/20/2013) [-]

As a New Zealander I really hope all the negative comments you are getting are a joke. We are called the "land of the long white cloud" but I don't see any clouds outside if you know what I'm saying.
User avatar #83 to #81 - rdangerdash (01/20/2013) [-]
Edit: Freedom isn't always that great. We have a culture of drug addicts alcoholics and whores over here. That's what pretty much everyone is like. A little regulation isn't made. Often it results in better people than those who have their "freedoms". And no, I'm not saying that a dictatorship is better, it's just that there should be rules about how people act or you end up with a bunch of really shitty people like a lot of the people here.
User avatar #96 to #83 - robopuppy (01/20/2013) [-]

User avatar #69 to #62 - Ruspanic (01/20/2013) [-]
Central America is geographically part of North America. It's not considered its own continent.
User avatar #76 to #69 - CJTinoco (01/20/2013) [-]
no one said anything about continents, he said Americas and central america is an america.
User avatar #70 to #69 - thewalruss (01/20/2013) [-]
Actually, there are many ways to define a continent... according to the definition, america is one, two or three continents... or europe and asia are one or two... I just like to cause some butthurt
User avatar #72 to #70 - Ruspanic (01/20/2013) [-]
I've heard of America and Eurasia (or even Afro-Eurasia) as unified single continents, but I've never heard of Central America being considered its own continent. That seems illogical.
User avatar #73 to #72 - thewalruss (01/20/2013) [-]
I think that the people from Costa Rica and Cuba are the ones who divide the continent in three... In my country America is just one big piece of land.
User avatar #98 to #73 - biggydy (01/20/2013) [-]
In my country, Argentina, America is one continent, which is politically divided in three sub-continent; North, Central and South America, but geographically it's just one continent. I don't see where is the division of South and North America.
User avatar #107 to #98 - Ruspanic (01/20/2013) [-]
The border between the geographical continents of North and South America (as we're taught in the US) is the Panama-Colombia border. Although some people say it's the Panama Canal.
It's sort of like how the Suez Canal is the border between Asia and Africa - the continents are technically connected, but the Suez Peninsula and Isthmus of Panama are very narrow compared to the bulk of the continents on the either side.
User avatar #112 to #107 - biggydy (01/20/2013) [-]
I don't think the Panama Canal is wide enough to be considered the division of the continent.
User avatar #120 to #112 - Ruspanic (01/20/2013) [-]
I don't either, and there's also the issue that it's a manmade waterway rather than a natural one (so is the Suez Canal, but that runs through a section of land that's already significantly narrower than the land around it).
Anyway, I think the border between Panama and Colombia is a good place to divide North and South America, if they are two separate continents.
