By the time I did it I had the Japanese Tanto so I stood far away from it and managed to hit it a couple times while it was running at me and it only took a couple slashes with it to kill it. But I failed about 15 times before that happened.

See i had already had the bow and free roamed for a good couple days and had put the...marksman? sight on it so i was able to be pretty far away. I only had to slash it once.

Yeah I had the bow with a marksmen sight on it too but I only hit it once when it was standing still and could only hit it one more time while it was charging at me because I can't hit a moving target for shit.

Sucks haha. Whats fun is hitting heavys with explosive arrows.

Ultimate strategy: Animal damage syringe, take a few shots, then run away like a pussy and hide ... tactically retreat, and repeat

Japanese Tanto bro. That knife is a beast, it kills tigers and bears in like 6 slashes, which is fast enough for you to only get once or twice by them. It kills the normal pirates and privateers in 1 slash and the heavy pirates in 3 slashes. It takes 4 slashes for the heavy privateers though.

That mission would have been more fun if the last damn dog didn't go hide and it took me 30 minutes to get him to come out.

I believe its near bangkok, or at least a short flight away. the place the group was before they dropped onto rook island. Its also home to a massive pirate, slaving, and trading business. They probably were shipping or ordering leopards for game hunters or the like. Considering the wooden cages they keep ferocious predators in, i would not be surprised if they had a few break out and start an indigenous population of leopard.

well they will attack you, but shooting their friend startles them and makes them run, if you chase them they will eventually calm down and charge you again.

I think that Far Cry 2 single player gets a bit boring rather too quickly, but it's still made with quality. The gameplay has some rather annoying elements, but overall, it's worth a playthrough or two. The multiplayer, for me, was one of the best MP experiences I had. IT was really simple and straightforward, but it forced you to play as your role. If you were a sniper, you took a shot, and then you moved your arse, because someone WOULD come along to kill you.

Disregard what the Anon said, FC2 is really good. I enjoyed it every step of the way and the ending was amazing.

You can relate to them, but every single one of the them (except maybe Vaas) is a complete douch. Even Citra and Dennis seem good throughout the whole game until the very end. Then they lose it.

FarCry 2 has more destructive elements than FarCry 3 apparently, however I haven't actually played it.
So yeah, maybe?
