You can handle a lifelong commitment and all the financial responsibilities that accompany it.
You can take a gun and grenade and potentially go die in a foreign country.
You clearly are incapable of handling the consumption of any amount of alcohol. Are you stupid? You'll hurt yourself or others. You need at least three more years of life experience to mature enough to handle the privilege. And by the way, you cleaned the gun wrong, private.

On two occasions, Quebec has voted to separate from the rest of Canada. The first vote was lost by a lot, but the second one was only lost by 0.1%. So Canada was damn close to losing a province. The ongoing joke in Canada is that all people from Quebec want to separate.
you can be 16 but have to be finished with school with parental permission to join the army (i think), and the "M" rating is for age 17+, not 18.

You have to be 17 to enlist in the military(united states), and even that's only with parental consent. 18 without it. But, if you do get parental consent, you can to basic training the summer of your High School Junior year. That's only National Guard and Air National Guard though.
the younger you get them, the better they can be conditioned to take orders without questioning

What country is this about, because You have to be 18, or turn 18 before basic training to join the military here. Also the ESRB ratings for Battlefield, CoD, etc only require you to be 17 or older.

Actually, in Sweden the age of consent is 15. BUT, if the one who is underage agrees to have sex, it's not illegal as long as it's a reasonable age. Like for me, my girlfriend turns 15 soon and I just turned 18, technically I could fuck her now without getting arrested for it.
