Idk about anyone else, but I thought it was so much sadder when Will Smith was talking to the manikin after Sam died.

Don't worry, about a thing. 'Cause every little thing's gonna be alright.

does anyone else think that will smith would've been better than jaimie foxx in django?
#107 to #71 - expert (01/13/2013) [-]
I honestly think both actors would have filled the role pretty well. Jamie Foxx more so (only because I see him as an actor solely fitting a more adult role in film. Will Smith would have worked too, but I think he would have held back slightly, since he's rarely involved in projects with adult themes (at least recently).

Futurama with Fry's dog, Sam in I Am Legend, and of course Marley in Marley & Me. Jesus christ I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

I remember a movie I watched years ago. Some kid who lives on a farm needs money for his sick grandfather, and enters a dogsled race with his old, awesome dog. But the dog has a heart-attack and dies 30 feet in front of the finish line. Cried like a ******* baby.

sounds like a twisted movie, why would they make the dog die 30ft from the finish line?? and Im assuming its a kid movie?

It's based on a book. "Stone Fox". Plenty of books and movies have sad endings.

"Iron Will"
I believe that's the name

Jesus, I have not seen that in such a long time.

"Stone Fox". Just googled it. Little kid needs money to save his grandfathers farm. Dog dies in front of the finish line. My eyes are tearing up reading the synopsis.

I've seen Iron Will, and I think the premise is kinda the same. But the one I read and saw the kid lived in Idaho or Wyoming and was only 12 or 13.

I know which one you're talking about. I just remember the kid and his grandpa being really poor and the kid, at some point, opens their makeshift safe and it's mostly change. It was a pretty sad movie.

the only movie ive cried in was marley and me ...it reminded me too much of the dog i had at the time. she was old and i was colse to her. i refuse to watch it again, esp since she has passed on and i have a new dog i rather not think of dying now.

i agree, i tend to not watch movies again if theres a dog death esp if the dog was in the movie alot etc.

2 Scenes come to mind when i saw this.
The scene from elfen lied and the scene from i am legend.....now that i am thinking about this please excuse me, i am going to go find a nice corner to cry into for the next couple of hours.
User avatar #33 to #28 - MakiChan (01/12/2013) [-]
i am legend i wont watch again just becasue of that. i had to tell myself hes doing it to save him from being a monster dog, but it still was hard to watch.
User avatar #104 to #33 - cozer (01/13/2013) [-]
When i first saw the i am legend trailer i thought it would be some generic zombie movie. I'm so glad that i actually watched it, it's a top tier movie.
