Bringing back the good old funny.

"A website that used to be hilarious, but is now overun by "newfags" who post pictures of naked bitches and cats. It makes me want to THROW A CHAIR"

"An awesome website where users post entertaining content. It has its own culture, which is a sort of minority on the internet compared to other websites like 4chan or Reddit, but its users are mostly loyal to the site, despite large amounts of reposts."

I wonder how many people actually read the book.

I mean, everyone know who Count Dracula is, but almost no one mustered the curiosity to go and read it. Just a thought.

I am reading it currently and it's pretty damn good

I kind of read the book.

I got bored after 12 pages or so
User avatar #53 to #5 - kirbyking (01/09/2013) [-]
I got so damn bored with it, normally I can read anything, but damn it I just couldn't. Maybe because I was asked to for a college report but I don't know, don't have the strength to even try again.
#51 to #5 - EdwardNigma (01/09/2013) [-]
I want to read it but I'm poor and can't focus when reading because I ******* suck.
User avatar #54 to #51 - ocnamesaregone (01/09/2013) [-]
I'm pretty sure you can borrowfor free at a local library, I'd give it a try if I were you.
User avatar #56 to #54 - EdwardNigma (01/09/2013) [-]
I don't think it's free.

And I just moved, got no ******* idea where the library is.
#57 to #56 - ocnamesaregone (01/09/2013) [-]
you can read it for free online too, plenty of ways to get it online but I like to read things not on a screen.

And for your focus maybe you have slight ADD, or just that the books you usually read are boring as **** .

<What your face should be when you read a book
#58 to #57 - EdwardNigma (01/09/2013) [-]
Might be the ADD, because I don't see how the story of Arthas is boring, that ***** cool as **** .

yeah it is ******* awesome, you should do a bit of research on that.

Though, everytime I read something online, the moment I get bored, I go back to FJ or other websites based on sheer habits. Maybe it's the same thing for you.
User avatar #60 to #59 - EdwardNigma (01/09/2013) [-]
Yeah, thats what always happens. **** my low attention span.
#61 to #60 - ocnamesaregone (01/09/2013) [-]
That's the reason why I try not to read things on a screen, too easy to get distracted.

It's the same thing for me books or on screen.

This horrible curse.

i watched a documentary about Vlad... that count for anything?
User avatar #43 to #5 - sparkysparky (01/09/2013) [-]
Yeah I read it a couple years back during the first wave of Twilight Hype. I was a fan of the genre and I wanted to feel it was cool!
User avatar #28 to #5 - gmarrox (01/09/2013) [-]
Same with Frankenstein. Hell, popular media portrays Frankenstein's monster as a mindless brute, whereas in the book, he's a compassionate and highly educated creature who turns evil from rejection.
#103 to #28 - anonymous (01/09/2013) [-]
That book was absolutely terrible though, Shelley is a mediocre writer

I read Dracula a few summers ago. Although it had a tendency to drag at some points, the rest of the book is fantastic.

for a lot of people it just never sparked their interest, or are currently in other books, for me it happens to be both. reading the kite runner right now
User avatar #7 to #5 - izaya (01/09/2013) [-]
I've read it. It was a tad bit different from what I imagined but the book was still good.

I'm British and I agree. Well, I have nothing against reading itself, I just really don't find books interesting.
#55 to #50 - ocnamesaregone (01/09/2013) [-]
I don't believe there's such things. All you need is to find a book that you like, and there's so many of them that I'm pretty you could find one that you would love.
