Now replace the word 'clever' with 'unique' or 'special' and you have an extremely accurate comic of the American school system.

Yeah, it was supposed to be almost a take on 'unique snowflake'ism.

But if you write anything else you fail and are viewed as less valued than one who does.

I always loved art classes for this. When a teacher/professor can judge a work that is supposed to be subjective and say "nope I don't like it fail" yet the material isn't meant to be liked by everyone it's meant to be pulled from the mentality of a unique individual.

They're supposed to judge based on the technique of the art. Lines, negative space, etc.

Yeah, I learned quickly art is like the video game world. Everybody has an opinion on what art is good and if you don't agree you're obviously wrong.

Which is why I like science. No room for whiny cunts to say "Nuh-uh that's just your opinion!"

Is it just me, or when you look through this post more than 3 times, the word 'clever' just doesn't seem right...

But that is when you see something everyday but you don't notice it. I notice the word but after a while it is just... Different.

That's just your brain's way of breaking down the word's molecular structure to the point where you're reading it in a completely different language.
And that's how you can tell that the base homo sapiens language consisted of the one true language that we all don't know today.

I'm not sure if that doesn't make sense because I'm drunk or because even when I'm drunk I can tell that doesn't make sense. I don't think you're "reading it in a completely different language". The ability to learn language is inherent, but the words themselves are not.

That single Indoeuropean language was the base for a vast number of languages, but the brain does not automatically revert to those words. If that were the case, language wouldn't change.

Language can't change of course, it can only be slightly adjusted one letter at a time.
