I'm from USA and find that Fahrenheit is better for telling people how the air/water feels. I can use Celsius but the schools here don't care about us knowing anything besides 0 is water freezing.

Metric system compared to what USA uses is similar, metric is better, but feet, inches, and miles are nicer distances to compare people and places imo

MFW I suggest on the internet that many people in America disagree with our measurement systems, but realize that its pretty much impossible to undergo a massive society-wide conversion of such deeply ingrained systems.

>follows the old-as-hell imperial system that even the inventors think is outdated
>entire science society worldwide now uses metric system in everything they do, as the standard
>still thinks imperial system is superior

seriously, i get that it's because of history and people might feel uncomfortable with a new standard, but even when the inventors of the system themselves think its outdated and throw it out, maybe it's time to rethink your standards

No one thinks imperial is superior. The problem is, there are over 300 million to educate on the difference in the USA and billions of signs to convert. It's going, but it will take a few generations. Think about it, we're talking about the country so undereducated over 50% believe in creationism.

The majority got the system when it started and could easily change. US was all the way on the other side of the ocean with a growing population still learning imperial.

So because people believe in creationism, that means they're uneducated? When you equate religious belief to lack of education, you make atheists look like douchebags.

This was rectified by every science class I've ever taken.
We're not allowed to take any measurements that are not in metric units.

Month =1-12
Day= 1-30/31 (Except February)
Year= Infinite number

Make sense?

It goes from lowest number to highest such as

1/8/13

or 12/24/89

Man, I think not using the metric system is stupid as **** and not using Celsius is also stupid, but this is something that I actually like

Nobody says "It's the fourth of February, 2012"

Everyone just says "It's February fourth, 2012"

So if we say it like that, why shouldn't we write it as such?

Years from now, and i mean like centuries, after a great war era, people will come back to america, being dead and ancient, and will probably think that mcdonalds was some kind of religious place, or a simble for our country. And if there is an afterlife, i will die a second time.....

Actually overall Washington was a pretty bad general who made a ton of errors.
It was really just a handful of good decisions + some luck that lead to victory

Also the firepower statement is questionable at best
