I finished fallout 3 and about a year later I got New Vegas. The deathclaws in Fallout 3 were pretty easy so when I first met them in NV my body was not prepared. Later on I saw a group of blind deathclaws in the distance. Zoomed up using VATS and saw one of them looking right at me. So I ran. I ran as fast as I fucking could. They caught up to my companion and I was almost home free... When a group of fire geckos came down from the hills and slaughtered me. And that was the story of my first time playingg Fallout: New Vegas.

You think that is bad. I was playing a character, & got him to level 20. So one day I get on & I click Load & my level 20 character save reverted back to when that character was level 8....FUCK!

there is actual one secret path that allow you to run north into Vegas area without need to go to south.

ponchosdm (01/08/2013) [-] dartgun + knife is the only thing needed to kill anything in that game, only fast enemies need the dartgun
if not, then load, land a hit with whatever you had and try to dodge his hit, save, keep making a "perfect battle" until killed, glitch it, or try to get to an unreachable location for it and attack from it, deathclaw will run, but go down, and get back up when its near, maybe not brave tactics, but i think it could help, good luck

Genuinely my greatest pleasure in NV is running around with Boone and Ed-E with a Riot Shotgun(modded) and Power Armour and unleashing all kinds of hell on those fuckers close-range. Sometimes I die, sometimes I feel like IAMGOOOOODDD

After finishing all DLCs, I went there with stealthpacks, the Armor from the last DLC which looks like an NCR Ranger armor (only better) and my anti material rifle, poor fuckers didn't stand a chance

i put everything in non violent stuff. i forgot exactly all the stats since i havent played in a while, but i put everything in like engineering, medicine, lock picking, and science. since thats what the doctor is.
first creature i encounter, get butt fucked by it and die from like one hit.
