Because the majority of people who drive them are famous rappers and use them as pimp canes. If you watch the red carpet at a music award ceremony, there will be at least one rapper in a white tux with a Rolls Royce umbrella pimp cane. However, it was initially designed for the rain as the Chauffer would get out, get the umbrella and put it up before opening the door for the owner to not get wet whatsoever.

It's probably for the driver to get, I'm just sayin if you can afford that car you probably can afford a driver.
