I met him just before he died, maybe a month or 2 before. Shook his hand and everything, firm, he was at an autograph convention in a hotel I was staying at one weekend with my mum. He didn't look very healthy but he still had a twinkle in his eyes and looked happy, just tired. The convention was in the morning and I really wanted to go but we didn't have enough time. Few months later he died, he was one of my favorite actors and I still feel lucky to have at least met him even though for brief seconds waiting for an elevator.
