imbeyondhigh (01/04/2013) [-] I believe that under the correct supervision of a responsible adult, (whom also knows gun safety, and how to properly operate a firearm) it is okay for a adolescent to use a firearm. Now, if you introduce guns to a child at a younger age, it gives them time to get comfortable and learn proper use of a firearm. But, I also believe that you should not give a child a gun to keep for themselves, parents should tell their kids it is their firearm, but keep the firearm locked away or hidden.

When i went for mine i had to get a local copper to vouch for me proof i had somewhere to safely store the gun yada yada yada, just common sense to keep your gun locked up from there on out.
But then again the people i know who have guns live in the country, and shit always seems to go missing off farms and what not, bad mojo if your gun goes missing because you should have had it in a safe place.
