Snow white did sleep with the 7 drawvers in the 'original' story (not disney).
My teacher in danish (so also in general litterature) ruined EVERY SINGLE chilhood story like that. Turns of the classic writes was a buch of perverts.

In the original Cinderella (at least the earliest known story of it) Cinderella's dad married a lady the Cinderella didn't like so Cinderella and her tutor planned to kill her. Cinderella tricked her step-mother into looking into a large chest and while her head was in there Cinderella slammed the lid shut on the woman's neck so many times her head fell off.
Cinderella's dad married the tutor next. The tutor knew what Cinderella did and treated her poorly for it. Cinderella got fed up with being treated like dirt (or cinder) so she went and killed the tutor I think by setting her on fire (I don't quite remember but it wasn't as awesome as decapitation via chest).
There was no prince, no slipper and I think the closes they got to a Fairy God Mother was the tutor who Cinderella killed.
All I really learned from that story was that Cinderella was a murderous, psychopathic bad ass.

Like I said this was a really early version of Cinderella. Disney was mostly inspired by the French version written in 1634. Disney more or less stuck to that version, the soul exception being that the Fairy God Mother was actually the spirit of Cinderella's deceased biological mother.

So basically the Little Mermaid saves the prince from drowning and falls in love with him, but her lifespan as a mermaid is much longer than the human's, but when she dies she'll turn into sea foam and stop existing, but humans have eternal souls that live on. So she goes to this witch and asks to be a human with an eternal soul, yadda yadda yadda, trades her voice for legs, needs to marry the prince in order to have a soul, and if he falls in love with someone else then she dies immediately. So she drinks the potion which makes her feel like swords are constantly impaling her. Then he has to marry this princess but he wont because hes in love with the girl who saved his life (who was the mermaid but he thought it was a temple girl) and then he is taught the princess saved him, so he marries her. She despairs, thinking of the death that awaits her, but before dawn, her sisters bring her a knife that the Sea Witch has given them in exchange for their long hair. If the Little Mermaid slays the prince with the knife and lets his blood drip on her feet, she will become a mermaid again, all her suffering will end, and she will live out her full life. She cant bare to kill him so she throws herself into the ocean and turns into sea foam and she is forced to be a spirit in the sky like forever.

I have a really big book of fairy tales and nursery rhymes and ****, and that story always stood out to me as the one story that didn't have a good ending. For some reason all the other stories were the Disney kind (not the gruesome original ones).

Every disney story that is based on another one is completely different and the original is usually vastly depressing.

Cinderella became a queen or some **** and made her mother wear iron boots that were molded with molten hot metal. She also put both her sisters in a barrel of class and rolled them down a hill.
