Most people of European descent nowadays have an immunity to the "plague." It's like a cold to us.
#87 to #39 - kerplunking (12/30/2012) [-]
Do you have a source for that? I'm not saying that you're lying, but I've never heard of this before.
User avatar #49 to #39 - HeartOfTheDL (12/30/2012) [-]
So what you are saying is that all that if europe wanted to conquer the world they just have to do is create the plague and unleash it on us poor other countries.
User avatar #72 to #49 - asschwitz (12/30/2012) [-]
Pretty much anyone of non-European descent. So, Excluding the U.S., Canada, and a few other countries outside Europe could be wiped out.
User avatar #302 to #72 - meganinja (12/30/2012) [-]
except not everybody of European descent is immune to the plague, it's something around a third. However, a plague outbreak wouldn't kill many people anyways, as the plague can be very easily treated by anti-biotics.
User avatar #361 to #302 - asschwitz (12/30/2012) [-]
True, Unless it was altered and weaponized.

#31 - TheBanana (12/30/2012) [-]
your logic is flawed. lamposts were in the 18th century and onwards and the black plague was in the 14th century

User avatar #11 to #10 - guiguito (12/30/2012) [-]
the plague were on fleas, which were on rats.
themoreyouknow.jpeg
#12 to #11 - markonj (12/30/2012) [-]
Yes, rats. I asked about cats. But it's logical though
User avatar #13 to #12 - guiguito (12/30/2012) [-]
fleas are some ******* nasty bugs that can't be squished easily, they can live even on humans, why not on cats?
#15 to #13 - 4chan refugee (12/30/2012) [-]
but why in a sneeze?
#23 to #15 - fatimmortal (12/30/2012) [-]
Because cats can sneeze too. Also, the plague was pretty much the King-sized version of influenza. It wouldn't be surprising if a cat sneezed in your face and you died soon after.

but... Suits, tophats, and lamp post were primarily a 18th-19 century thing. The whole plague and plague doctors thing was around the 14th century.

The plague was even in Arizona just two years ago... It still is not a dead disease.( It can be cured with just some antibiotics though.)

User avatar #16 to #6 - serotonin (12/30/2012) [-]
Plague did come and go. Last great outbreake was in 1855 in China. In Europe it was know to come back as far as begining of 19th century
User avatar #17 to #16 - thisotherdude (12/30/2012) [-]
Yes but the actually plague doctors (dudes with the bird faces) didn't really last that long, definitely not all the way to what appears to be Victorian England.

I see she didn't like England on the XIXth century so she decided to teleport herself to continental Europe on the XVIIth. Bad move I guess.
User avatar #207 to #4 - nebuchadnezzaurus (12/30/2012) [-]
I have no idea why you're getting thumbed down, apart from the fact that she wasn't from XIX century, probably late XX or XXI. And yes, that is just how some countries spell century numbers. I'd say it's no more stupid as the imperial unit system.
which it is
#5 to #4 - tranminh (12/29/2012) [-]
nonononooo, you're cool, you use roman numerals to assert your intelligence instead of saying 19th and 17th century :) :) :) :) :)
