To be honest, I've done more. Then after killing around twice the amount of people shown here, I went and peacefully have a herald money. The herald that watched the bloodbath.

"I have killed the entire population of this city in guards, where do you keep coming from?"
User avatar #146 to #20 - mhden (12/29/2012) [-]
In reality all the guards have someone that cared for them that was not serving as a guard .
It may have been their son , brother , father or even best friend .
By killing them you give those people a purpose to fight for .
Some will want to become guards to honor the fallen and fight for the same things those fought for . Other will do it for revenge . They will swear that they will find that someone that killed their important person a bring him to (justice/ his end ).
And the never ending cycle of revenge will continue .

i used to pickpocke entire crowds and once i had enough i would counter with my fists not killing anyone but maiming them for life untill the ground was a writhing mass of pain.

I would do the same thing and yell "FORCED ABORTION" anytime it was a woman and Ezio did that specific counter where he punches them in the stomach.

In Assassins Creed 1 I used to go into cities when I was bored and indiscriminately kill everything while trying to amount the largest pile of bodies in history.

I was playing New Vegas one day, and after a while I finally got into the Strip. I talked to Benny, got him up to his suite, and, of course, killed him and his guards. I went downstairs and walked around for a little, and almost immediately Boone started shooting people. Five minutes later, The Tops was wiped out.

So then I decided I'd check out Gomorrah, because I'd never been there. I went in and found a bunch of hookers and stuff, as well as the tents in the courtyard. One thing that was really surprising was a room that you're not supposed to enter, yet its doors were wide open. I stepped inside, saw a bunch of pissed-off guys draw their weapons, and ten minutes later that casino was gone too.

And that, children, is the story of how I accidentally the Strip.

And a little better. As far as controls and gameplay (fighting, freerunning, etc.), AC3 is wayyyy more fun and fluid than the previous games, great improvement. I liked the story, dialogue, and characters of AC2 through Revelations though..

I'm not really too keen on the new game, the story is way too slow, something about it doesn't feel right. But I must say I love the look and the rope dart.
User avatar #2 - zytherman (12/28/2012) [-]
this was the best out of all the assassins creed games to fight guards with, although it was far to easy, it looked pretty damn cool
#26 to #2 - ohemgeezus (12/29/2012) [-]
Pretty sure they introduced the Captains and the brutes in brotherhood, so it was actually the hardest one because you couldn't just slice and dice with it.
User avatar #233 to #26 - zytherman (12/29/2012) [-]
Are you referring to the fact you couldn't counter the Captains and Brutes?
Because the hidden blades allowed a counter no matter what, you could complete the game without having to use anything but the hidden blade
