Why? Lets say you grow up in a family who are strict Atheist, but you decide to be a Christian. That would be my favorite Christian even though i am an Atheist. He decided to follow his own beliefs and not what others around him told him.

What's wrong with being proud of a person a bit more just because they're Atheist? It's something you share with a person, that you don't believe in God. Christians go to church because they believe in God, it really is the same thing.
