I actually gave my best playing WoW, came up to lvl 27 but everyone just ran by, some random times somebody said hello and chatted 2 minutes than had to run along because it's their 2nd or 3rd character and was just busy leveling up.
I got lonely and straight up tired of the shit and went on to play Oblivion.
Someday I'll give Guild Wars 2 a chance, but this really made me kinda hate mmorpgs.

demandsgayversion (12/13/2012) [-] I find the fun in role playing is to role play a character. Not straight up IN CHARACTER acting stuff, but I'll sacrifice stats for character. For example, a higher wisdom on a wizard to express a deeper understanding of things, even if wisdom is inconsequential to a D&D wizard (although lately I've been preferring a sorcerer for the higher number of spells per day. I tend to only pick a few favorite spells as a wizard anyway, so it works out.)

I used to play. Too much in fact, I spent the first six years after WoW was released wasting my life on it, quit right before Cata, then got back in long enough to get a Pally to 85, a Rogue to 85, a DK to 81, a Shamy to 50, then quit because Cata didn't appeal to me to much, the PVP was fun, but got boring, then I couldn't do the PvE because the gear was totally different for the two worlds. I haven't played MoP, because my friends say it isn't worth it.
