But before any red thumbs, let me just say that the only people I have ever known to have played it are nerdy no-life kinds of douchebags that think that they're invincible. One kid made fun of my handicapped brother after stabbing my hand with a pencil all because I said that the game doesn't look that fun. That's why I hate it. That's the kind of people it produces. Not saying that everybody who plays it is like that. It's just my experience.

Please Mr. Tank... the cloth gives me extra intellect and spirit, and excuse me if I saved your ass with Regrowth and Wild Growth. It's the people that take this game so seriously as if they went a day without it, it would equal cancer for them. I played all throughout my high school years and I quit at the beginning of my freshman year in college. I miss the game a lot and I want to get back ASAP, but I'm not stabbing-hand-mocking-handicapped-relatives miss it a lot. I'm normal... I swear.

Played it with EVERYONE in my year. And that was pretty much all kinds of people you could imagine.
I still managed to not play it until The Burning Crusade was released, though, and it really bothered me how much people would attempt to pester me into playing it.

demandsgayversion (12/13/2012) [-] I find the fun in role playing is to role play a character. Not straight up IN CHARACTER acting stuff, but I'll sacrifice stats for character. For example, a higher wisdom on a wizard to express a deeper understanding of things, even if wisdom is inconsequential to a D&D wizard (although lately I've been preferring a sorcerer for the higher number of spells per day. I tend to only pick a few favorite spells as a wizard anyway, so it works out.)
