New Vegas is actually a truer version of 3 then 3 was.

I know its been almost one year, but I just wanted to say that New Vegas was ******* horrible, and I can't believe you would compare such a great game as Fallout 3 to the complete stupidity that was Fallout New Vegas. And I am just going to leave it at that, although there are more than one hundred reasons as to why Fallout New Vegas will never compare to either Fallout 3, or its previous games.

Anyone have the link that makes a comparison between Detroit and Hiroshima from when the bomb hit and now? What the **** am I saying, I'll just google that ********** .

Did read about people who try to sell houses in Detroit had problem even when putting the damn house on 1$ dollar. There are areas in Detroit that really are bad, but all towns have them.

Anyone else hoping fallout 4 will be STABLE?

HA! It's funny because he referenced a popular fanfiction.

Let Bethseda handle the coding and let Obisdian handle the story.

And grant us the same level of modability and I will be happy.

Fallout 3 was great all around with gameplay(and general stability) while New Vegas had the strong storyline(and awesome perks like the Wild Wasteland) but was lacking in the gameplay with stability and some locations.

Fallout 4 will probably be set in where MIT is and the Commonwealth of the United States as the Bethsoft cars have been seen around Boston taking pictures of stuff.

Do I want stability? Yes I do,but I also want the game to be optimized for the PC FIRST and not the consoles(sorry guys, but its time that the PC people got some love for once)

I really think that the next Bethsoft title should be for PC love first. WHile I know there are many many variations of hardware.software and other misc things,I think for once,a dev should focus on its heart community.

Many,MANY of the things in New Vegas, are their iterations of mods from Fallout 3.They even admitted that weapon mods were their take on Antistars Weapon Mod Kits. The Hardcore is a bit taken from the Fallout 3 Wanderers Edition(and goddamn that makes the game real hard)

I love all my Fallout Games, but I do think that Fallout NV should have been left in the oven for another year or two to fully iron out the kinks(the first patch had well over 200 various fixes)

Getting FNV/Fo3 on the PC and using mods really is what makes any of Bethsofts games really shine. They are fun on the consoles, but until we can legally mod our games on the console,i really think that hampers the playability of the games. Especially when theyres mods for FNV/FO3 that fixes all the various bugs and errors that were left behind for us to fix anyways.

No, because that means a company other than Bethesda made it.

Am I the only one that liked NV a little more than 3? Mainly because of the ******* subway system. And the fact that NV was a bit more than just grey, grey, oh look more grey, grey....
#128 to #67 - tornade (12/13/2012) [-]
Actually, I loved the subway tunnels, it made 3 a bit more fun to explore, the main reason I liked Vegas a lot less was because you couldn't just wander off and explore...
(Well, you could, but it was limited...)
User avatar #126 to #67 - ferrettamer (12/13/2012) [-]
I preffered NV gameplay and stuff more, but 3's story was better

I liked the general gameplay of New Vegas(iron sights, survival and reputation) but I enjoyed the scenery more of Fallout 3. I HATED New Vegas's scenery. Oh look more desert. Hey look a town! No wait, nothing there. **** **** **** CAZADORS! .....and now boones dead and I cant find EDE because he decided to go psycho and kill everything.

New Vegas was far too glitchy(and I built my machine to be more than powerful enough to handle FNV but vanilla it runs like absolute **** .) pic related.its a screen I made.

You know what was my FAVORITE part of fallout 3? The fact that one time i was over encumbered with nothing but **** that would sell for an assload of caps(like, well it was a while ago, and i dont remember the cap ratio thing but imagine about 3 or 4 , maybe even 5 times the average good haul) so i had to walk from like, the tree quest area, to the boat place on the bottom right of the map... lets just say, walking through every tunnel and city to get there as fast as possible... is quite annoying. SO DONT EVEN TEEEELL ME! ABOUT THE ******* TUNNELS!

the guns felt so ****** in nv. it seemed like the only smart way to play was to use melee weapons. a fallout where i feel like i have to play a specific way isnt a good fallout.

but to each their own.
User avatar #108 to #80 - sorrowofdaedalus (12/13/2012) [-]
Actually, I practically NEVER used melee weapons at all. I used mostly guns.....

i was all about that strip when i played. it actually felt like a structured map too. i felt 3 had too many blocked pathways

Is it just me or did Oblivion have like 4 voice actors? Not complaining about the game I enjoyed it more than Skyrim truly. Mostly for the difficulty increase and the skill progression. (I played Skyrim before Oblivion.)
User avatar #88 to #61 - iseethings ONLINE (12/13/2012) [-]
I believe there were ten non unique actors. ( Anyone not part of the main storyline.)
User avatar #175 to #88 - goodatlosing (12/14/2012) [-]
That sounds about right. Me and my brother play a game where we geuss what character is voiced by which guy. we have a chart listing the voices we thought existed. it only has seven people though. I need to study more...
