Will this work on a graphing calculator?!
#96 to #91 - anonymous (12/13/2012) [-]
In theory, but I´m not sure if it A) Can draw enough simultaneous graphs to make a Skyrim logo and B) Has enough resolution to make it look OK

You still can't tell me a real practical reason to know all those things, can you?

Being "the guy that does measuring stuff" doesn't count.

This is how vectors work. Vector images are very important. There are computer programs that do the math for you based on what you draw in the program

Working out bullet drop in games, jump arcs, how fast you're going when you leave a platform.

It's usually simulations and things, they can use it to tell how things will react depending on the angle they're moving and how fast, can be used for space exploration, games, and other similar things that require knowledge of movement and curves. So even calculating an arc for a machine to throw a basketball into a net every single time.

Buying stocks. Take the derivative of a stock at a given time to see how fast it's going up or down.

Physics, for finding out where something is at any given time, with any given speed or acceleration.

The computer this was posted on...

Yeah, i think that is good enough.

It is possible to draw an object in 2 or 3 dimensional space in programs like these and have the computer compute the formulas for you instead of the tedious way around.

The worship of a man as a god is blasphemy and foolishness. This is why mer is greater than man and the Aldmeri Dominion is the dominant force in Tamriel.

FOOLISH ELVES!!!

WHY CAN YOU NOT SEE THE BLESSINGS OF THE MIGHTY TALOS!?
TALOS, WHO, EVEN IN LIFE AS THE GREAT TIBER SEPTIM, LOVED AND CHERISHED ALL WHO LIVE!?

MIGHTY TALOS, WHO, EVEN AS YOU SPREAD BLASPHEMY UPON THE WORLD, STILL LOVES YOU LIKE HIS OWN CHILDREN!? EVEN AS YOU BRAINWASH HIS BELOVED IMPERIAL CHILDREN, STILL HOLDS ROOM FOR YOU IN HIS DIVINE HEART!?

In the past the Thalmor have shown an astonishing ability to predict future events, predicting the end of the oblivion crisis and taking credit for it scored them big points on the Summerset Isles. This allowed them to take over Elswyr during the great war when they predicted that the moons that had disappeared would reappear and took credit for that causing the khajit who worship the moons to hail the thalmor as heroes. It's possible that the thalmor have foreseen the second coming of tiber septim a.k.a. talos and are now desperately trying to prevent that.
User avatar #54 to #44 - Marker ONLINE (12/13/2012) [-]
Alright Thalmor scum, explain this. If the Dominion outlaws the worship of Talos, aren't they going against the very will of the other Eight who made him a god?
User avatar #57 to #54 - hauptishere (12/13/2012) [-]
Well this is basically the same as Judaism and Islam not accepting Jesus as being the son of God.
User avatar #58 to #57 - Marker ONLINE (12/13/2012) [-]
Tamrielic religion makes much more sense. Let's not bring real religion into this, lest we all get confused.
User avatar #61 to #58 - hauptishere (12/13/2012) [-]
I was just trying to make a parallel to show how it is impossible to know whether or not the Divines truly accepted Talos into divinity. You either believe it or you don't. Or you sign a treaty forcing others to accept you beliefs or else.
User avatar #64 to #61 - Marker ONLINE (12/13/2012) [-]
All of Skyrim should just be forced to worship Sithis. There would be a lot less conflict.

I went with the Imperials, and I say there's Nine Divines.

#31 - anonymous (12/13/2012) [-]
the numerator and denominator are the same, most of the function is just a fancy 1... he's simply overlapping functions... I dare you to do that in a single expression
