Honestly, what useless cretin goes up to the manager and demands an employee to be treated like **** for next to no reason. Working in the retail sector, or any job that involves dealing with the public, is hard enough without having to put up with the ******* asshole problem customers.

any chance theres more to this? thais was actually pretty interesting.

Number 7 is a lie.
All it takes is some simple addition for you to know, anyways.
#43 to #13 - anonexplains (12/12/2012) [-]
They do that at the one i work at. Its for quick pricing, that way you don't sit there trying to add it while others are waiting. Also helps when you are late for a movie.
User avatar #63 to #43 - undeadeskimo (12/12/2012) [-]
Still sort of defeats the purpose of having a combo deal.

"At some theaters"

And I imagine most people don't bother doing the math in their heads.
User avatar #27 to #24 - undeadeskimo (12/12/2012) [-]
Well they should be smarter spenders.
#29 to #27 - miwauturu (12/12/2012) [-]
Meh. People are lazy ******* .

True, true.
User avatar #12 - KayRed (12/12/2012) [-]
6 is true in restaurant too. I got one for restaurant.

Your stick wasn't cooked wrong, you just don't know what the **** "Rare," "Mid Rare," "Medium," "Mid Well," and "Well," means.
User avatar #15 to #12 - KayRed (12/12/2012) [-]
User avatar #14 to #12 - HGOnethreeone (12/12/2012) [-]
So, medium means deep red almost all the way? Huh.
User avatar #16 to #14 - KayRed (12/12/2012) [-]
That is an exaggeration, but a medium is supposed to be red.
User avatar #18 to #16 - HGOnethreeone (12/12/2012) [-]
Sadly, that is NOT an exaggeration, that is what multiple different restaurant have given me.
User avatar #20 to #18 - KayRed (12/12/2012) [-]
Perhaps. That is why I would recommend describing the temperature rather than saying it, a server (at a steak house at least) will no what you want, and if you're really not sure, remember that a steak can be easily cooked up but can't be uncooked.
User avatar #17 to #16 - KayRed (12/12/2012) [-]
not a deep red, but a light red to a deep pink.
User avatar #19 to #17 - HGOnethreeone (12/12/2012) [-]
Yeah, and that is what I expected. Sadly, never what I ever get.
User avatar #9 - swimmingprodigy (12/12/2012) [-]
There are "methods" for sneaking in?

I thought you just walk in through the door....

Number six doesn't seem bad. I wouldn't want my manager yelling at me for not putting "enough butter" on the obese women's popcorn.
#6 - oceanguygw (12/11/2012) [-]
i worked at a theater for two years, these are all true

Explain the nachos and hotdogs one. Do they **** on them? put pubic hair on them? spit on them or wut?
User avatar #11 to #10 - oceanguygw (12/12/2012) [-]
they are just crappy quality, good enough if your starving, and the popcorn, the later in the night it is the fresher it is, they bag it at the end of the night and just re heat it in the morning, the nachos just are in a bag so its by chance really
User avatar #22 to #11 - ronyx (12/12/2012) [-]

The seccond "and" is supposed to be "end". It's supposed to read "Sometimes multiple movies end at once and they just can't get to everything because of time".

I had to read it over a couple times to get it
User avatar #3 - spezarius (12/11/2012) [-]
i dont care if its ******* complied by santa claus. still sucks rotten buffalo ass

The 7th, one, the one which tells you that the cinema pack deals are usually as expensive as buying everything separately is kinda ******** . Its easy to find out if that is wrong or not by doing math, but you usually get a tray or something with it for you to keep it more comfortable, just saying.
User avatar #1 - SquishyHaribo (12/11/2012) [-]
if there is a problem with the film like it skips a little bit or something small like that, if you tell one of the ushers they will give you a free ticket valid for any film in the next few months, you might have to talk to a manager but that's not a problem
