stereotypes exist because they are usually true. Every person I know who smokes weed is some version of sad loser in life. Always blame "the man" for their own failures in life or say that they don't want to "play the game" (of getting a real job and becoming a version of successful).

Out of all the people I know who smoke weed which is probably about a third of the people in the year above me at school and about half of my mates, I'd say 5 of them act all lazy and stoner like, yet none of them complain about shit. In fact the most stoner like person I know came up to school today to hand in his university application.

i'm older. I know people from in early 30's to late 50's who smoke weed. I was paraphrasing them, but the sentiment is the same. they all have evryone else but themselves to blame for their low achievement in life, and usually fall back on the "i'm not materialistic" argument to excuse themselves.
I WAS NOT talking about younger people becuse it is a more "normal" behvior for them but when you are older things SHOULD change. (a generalization but for the most part, true).

Sorry you feel that way, but weed doesn't ruin people's lives, it just makes lazy and unambitious people lazier. It's not the weed that's to blame, I can guarantee that most stoners who are 'losers' were losers before they ever smoked weed and they will continue being losers unless they seriously give their head a shake and sort themselves out.

A drug doesn't tag a person's personality . Every drug has a certain effect on the attitude of the user . If you drink coffee which contains caffeine , you will most probably be hyper for the rest of the day and you won't get sleepy. The same with weed , it's more of a relaxing component than an aggressive one. That doesn't mean that your douchebag teenage neighbour isn't aggressive in general.

You're comment is so full of ignorance, so im gonna break it down to why you are wrongly mistaken. 1) Pot has no chemical in it that can make you be addicted, you can become mentally addicted like playing a favorite video game because its fun but in the same way that you dont NEED it. 2) Pop culture barely talks about pot use, rappers and hiphop artists brag about it because its illegal to do.. but we wouldn't have that problem if it was legal in the first place 3) Coming from experience with smoking pot and knowing people who smoke pot, you're using circumstantial evidence to come to the conclusion that " well these kids are violent and smoke pot.. so herp derp must be pot " or maybe these kids are just assholes trust me they're plenty of them in the streets.. well I guess pot makes you violent.. if demolishing a bag of doritos counts.
