Just had to do a presentation in psych about nicotine. The nicotine affects your dopamine levels whenever you smoke which is why you feel so grumpy now that you quit. Eventually, your body will return to and accept its natural dopamine levels.

Cigars and cigarettes are two totally different things. Inhaling the smoke is what causes most of the damage because it destroys the alveoli in your lungs by blocking them up with tar and other toxins. Smoking a cigar, while larger in tobacco content, only damages the gums and teeth. Since you aren't inhaling the cigar smoke (or you shouldn't) you aren't receiving the nicotine rush that you get from a cigarette.

Therefore, yes beardman (nice name btw) is still smoking something, it's not the same as smoking a cigarette, nor as harmful. Cigars, especially in moderation are far less harmful.

Plus I doubt he smokes cigars everyday

when you started smoking you didnt get straight into 20 a day did you ?

you should slowly and gradually quit just like you slowly and gradually started, that way it wont be so difficult for you.

Then you are one of the few, it's kinda like with the patches it helps for a little bit.. but then your tolerance goes back up and the need for nicotine gets worse. I just went ahead and quit and let my body flush out. After 3 days of being ill, it was easy.

They say it relaxes them or they just can't stop. I tried smoking and I would get this shock in my chest, so it didn't work out for me. Maybe I wasn't smoking right. Who knows

I smoke cigars for relaxation purposes and because I enjoy the taste of certain brands. (Al capone's mini cigars rum dipped flavor are probably my favorite) and my buddy smokes cigs because they give a relaxing effect that you could probably compare to 1 to 2 puffs of weed. Not anything that can **** you up but a small rush to relax you.

initially most people smoke for the headrush it gives them, after the headrush wears away then people usually stay smoking because of addiction and habit

Ah yes. It doesn't affect one's brain as much as THC does, though. (Yes, I do know they aren't the same and do different things.) It stimulates and relaxes at the same time. But in my opinion, it wouldn't be worth it. Nicotine is highly addictive, physically and mentally. The cons outweigh the pros.

Hello. i am here to tell you there is a way out. There is a taint on the website. A taint called 4chan. This "4chan" is a website without morals. Where women and blacks are discriminated, in a manner similar to that which they suffered 100 years ago. It is a website where cretins masturbate to images of naked Oriental girls being brutally rapped. It is a website where god's love does not shine. We have a word for websites such as 4chan: Cancer. Indeed, the word does the site justice, as not only does it corrupt the minds of those who view it, but it also corrupts the minds of sister sites such as this one. Funnyjunk was a good site. Funnyjunk could be a good site again. Except for one thing. 4chan. As long as the blight known as 4chan exists, this site, Funnyjunk, can never be PURE. You can see the most obvious of the taints. The 4chan channel. This is the channel through which the evil that is 4chan spews. Therefore, the first step to redeeming this site would be to get rid of that channel. Unfortunately, the taint runs deeper than that. The taint has spread to some of the hearts of the users. It will not be easy to remove the taint. It could prove impossible. Fortunately, there is a way out. The way out has been deemed numerous times by 4chan a "faggot" site in a attempt to ensure that no users seek to repentance there. That site is called 9gag. Seek repentance there, i beg of you, and help stop the menace that is 4chan.
