i just don't see anything about it, one episode ended with a competition of grabbing a ball with his ass.

it's on cartoon network, it's atleast aimed at kids.

it's a borderline show like they used to show in the nineties, like the simpsons when it was funny.

was never allowed o watch the simpsons, or rugrats, or spongebob, or family guy, and for a long while pokemon and dragon ball, was held to very high standards as a child.

that sounds less 'high standards' and more 'cloistered youth'.

here it's considered respected, if anything i get to live out a life long dream which should be respected anywhere.

I was allowed to watch the things you weren't and I turned out just fine. You're upbringing has nothing to do with what you're allowed to watch but the actual parenting involved, I wasn't an idiot child, I knew better than to be stupid or believe stupid things. But anyway... the appeal in the show is that it's not actually "directed" towards kids, that's a common western misconception, but more to a more young teen and even college level audience. The show itself has a lot, and I mean A LOT of dark backstory and dark themes if only you take some time to hear, see, and find them.

For one, it's a post-apocalyptic Earth, though not said directly, a nuclear war is mentioned in a discreet way and there are several instances of globes in this world with a large chunk blown out of it. Plus it's a very touching series in some episodes, ones that completely change your perspective on the main antagonist the Ice King. You start off disliking him because he does bad things and then when you learn his history you pity the poor man because he has no control over it and you find the reason behind some of the things he does.

if the end implies that the ice king is the father then its wrong because there is an episode where she is fighting her father who is some kind of Hades or something ...still good though

at the end the father and daughter sitting on the bench ? I could be wrong but thats how I saw it

I thought it just meant that being at that bench made them feel like they where back in the good days since they both shared special memories their but i guess it's different for everyone.
