Great, so as you roll down the street you give bystanders carbon monoxide poisoning.
User avatar #117 to #85 - fillerboyyyy (12/08/2012) [-]
that car would barely run if that was the exhaust.
User avatar #89 to #85 - epicwinone (12/08/2012) [-]
execpt tt not carbon monoixde. i'ts a nitrous purge outlet tht he put in the doors
#129 to #89 - RaptorJesus (12/08/2012) [-]
I'm willing to bet that, that purge spot right there, isnt even nitrous... Running a line safely through the door, when it opens/closes, and not getting the line pinched or ****** up in any way is just kinda risky.... I'm betting its a CO2 purge... of the CryO2 variety...
#104 to #89 - terrunt (12/08/2012) [-]
Worst comes to worst, you'll have a whole load of laughing people.
User avatar #127 to #104 - haveagoodone (12/08/2012) [-]
that's nitrous oxide, i don't think it puts that out
#133 to #127 - terrunt (12/08/2012) [-]
my bad, as the guy above just pointed out, there are problems with the lines getting pinched etc.
However, a high number of purges are directly from the Nitrous tanks.
User avatar #135 to #133 - RaptorJesus (12/08/2012) [-]
True, but they're generally from the cowl or front fender of the vehicle, where the mounting point wont be moved or removed for any small reason. That way youre not having to dick with the lines everytime you even touch the car....
#138 to #135 - terrunt (12/08/2012) [-]
Yep, that's what I was trying to say, but I have mega brain fog. :L
User avatar #132 to #127 - RaptorJesus (12/08/2012) [-]
The only difference between automotive nitrous and medical nitrous is a small sulfur additive in automotive nitrous so you can't breath it (without ya know... getting ****** up, and not in a good way...) .... medical nitrous is also illegal to have or obtain... But either one will run just fine in a vehicle.

Also, fun fact, nitrous isn't flammable.

I agree with you Anon, for once you are not a flaming homo. This **** is what pisses me off the most. Here it goes: ****** paint-job, non-function roof scoop, POS wing, and vented side-skirts. None of this is functional, at all.

Tuning is messing with the engine. That is pimping & artstyle, no?
#62 - steelpanther (12/08/2012) [-]

why is everybody thumbing him down? That is actually a nice truck.
User avatar #141 to #111 - steelpanther (12/08/2012) [-]

User avatar #65 to #62 - newguyontheblock (12/08/2012) [-]
Nothing like a dodge ram 2500 cummins with a 6 inch lift and a 3 inch body lift with some 38 inch boggers. I live in rural illinois I understand.
#109 to #65 - ShockedNazi (12/08/2012) [-]
i live in rural illinois too....i even bought my truck from effingham, where u at brah?
User avatar #192 to #109 - newguyontheblock (12/08/2012) [-]
From Nauvoo Illinois about 4 hours away.
User avatar #67 to #65 - steelpanther (12/08/2012) [-]
i had a duramax with a 10" suspension and 5" body lift with 42 inch klaws on it. damn i miss that truck. 250 horse over injectors, bigger turbo, egr delete, hood stacked, turbo bypass, xdp chip and tuner. but i sold her to buy this animal. which i absolutely love. i live in central Pennsylvania and if you dont have a big truck youre not going anywhere haha
User avatar #69 to #67 - newguyontheblock (12/08/2012) [-]
My buddy has this insane 7.3 2004 f250 with a 12 inch lift some 42inch tires and an upgraded turbo and some etc mods I can't remember pushing 800 hp and 1800 ft lbs of torque gah....
User avatar #80 to #69 - salts (12/08/2012) [-]
7.3 for life!!!!
mine has 500k and its just now broken in im getting it chipped soon
User avatar #73 to #69 - steelpanther (12/08/2012) [-]
damn out of a 7.3? thats nuts. especially since a 7.3 is the slowest diesel that ford makes. it can pull a house down but it wont go anywhere haha. i can see those numbers coming out of a 6.0 or a 6.4 before i can from a 7.3. especially since the 6.4 is a dual turbo stock on some models. but power strokes are good trucks.
User avatar #191 to #73 - newguyontheblock (12/08/2012) [-]
He has a huge ass programer and some huge turbos on it with some smoke stacks. I don't know what else though really. It's incredible. The day he got it really suped up I was just riding with him when he said. "Ever taken a truck to 135?" then floored it. Plenty more room even at 135

I guess it's something you don't see everyday. I think it looks tacky. Oh and question, since it's put on the door. Does that mean he can't open the door?

Everyone here is talking about their cars, and I don't use mine because I don't have one.

User avatar #36 - AnonymouslyDamon (12/08/2012) [-]
Why in the **** would you put the nitrous purge lines through the door. Ricer. Inb4 oh its a supra it has a 2jz so its okay. No.
User avatar #34 - zmaro (12/08/2012) [-]
This post makes me sad. A real driver wouldnt do that stupid **** . 100 bucks says he didnt even do it himself.
#48 to #34 - xxxsonic fanxxx (12/08/2012) [-]
He could have done it his self, however I think this is more of a show car despite the nitrous, carbon fiber, and >dem rimz

I don't know much about cars - but if you can afford to do this at all you can most likely afford more than one car. i know for a fact with ATVs and sidebysides i have one for show and one for driving
for example my can am commander, ton of performance upgrades but it's too big to follow any of our paths in the strip mines. my polaris rzr has some performance parts but it's still smaller and easier to maneuver

and then i have a yamaha warrior 350 for show, and a suzuki quadracer lt250r for riding.
User avatar #75 to #48 - zmaro (12/08/2012) [-]
I understand that this is a show car and that they probably do have enough money for more than one car. I just dont believe in having a car just to trailer queen and take to car shows. I built my car, I race my car, and I drive my car every day, then I bring it to car shows
#59 to #48 - xxxsonic fanxxx (12/08/2012) [-]
No one cares.
#32 - nonnotitiapono (12/08/2012) [-]

User avatar #107 to #19 - koombine (12/08/2012) [-]
Asians incoming
User avatar #26 to #19 - welshash (12/08/2012) [-]
You know nothing.

That is a Toyota Supra estimated at around $5000. A rice car is a $250 car (mainly Honda's) made to sound like a fart cannon.

Know your **** .
#47 to #26 - rieskimo (12/08/2012) [-]
Can't talk for the rest of the world but in 'Murica "rice" is just a term slapped onto nearly anything that is of asian origin or designed in the manner of asian styles(i.e. Rice Rocket refers to an asian motorcycle[hondas, suzukis, yamahas] and a ricer could refer to the driver who prefers asian imports or the car that is asian or decorated in the style of asian performance vehicles/show cars).

The only way to do tuning right is to not do it at all.
#38 to #11 - xxxsonic fanxxx (12/08/2012) [-]
Whatever you guys say, this man is right. You can only ruin a car by tuning it. Sure you get straight line speed, right up until the moment you break your crankshaft / transmission / ruin your engine / get overheating problems / get gripping problems *9 years of explanation later* and ofcourse you ruin the looks of your car. A real gearhead buys a powerful call, a wigger tunes his car. Oh and FYI STi / AMG / M etc. are not tuning companies, they are part of Subaru / Mercedes / BMW etc.
Sorry for the long story, but these are simple facts.
#87 to #38 - angryhyena (12/08/2012) [-]
Wuuuuuut, tell all the autocrossers out there the same thing. Modifying and tuning are completely different things. You have no idea how vehicles work do you? A real gear-head works on his car anon, some people don't have the luxury to afford a 65K M3 or Vette.
User avatar #42 to #38 - jojonaaazz (12/08/2012) [-]
Well they are tuning companies, but I understand why you think that's not the case.
What about these: Brabus, Alpina, Cobra,...?
#74 to #42 - lolothundah (12/08/2012) [-]
I'm not sure if it's brabus or alpina that mods Mercedes to monster level while still maintaining the classy look.
User avatar #76 to #74 - jojonaaazz (12/08/2012) [-]
Brabus mods mercedes, and alpina mods bmw.
Alpina is definitely more classy than brabus. Brabus is just brutal.
User avatar #31 to #11 - guiguito (12/08/2012) [-]

User avatar #49 to #46 - foxxywithpaws (12/08/2012) [-]
There's nothing wrong with front-wheel drive if you know what you're doing... but I do prefer the pre-FIAT Alfa Romeo's.
User avatar #50 to #49 - driverist (12/08/2012) [-]
Yeah but the Alfas were a bit overpowered at the time with the 3.2.

GTV6 and Giulia Sprint 1600 GTA ftw.
#51 to #50 - foxxywithpaws (12/08/2012) [-]
I don't care that it's a FIAT-era Alfa.
I don't care that it has FWD.
I don't care that it doesn't have a front differential.
I don't care that it has 250bhp absolutely raping the front axle.
I don't care that it will **** up your tires within a lap.
I don't care that it will fall apart within 3 years.

I want an Alfa Romeo 147 3.2 V6 24V GTA.

User avatar #54 to #53 - driverist (12/08/2012) [-]
we don't have access to all the cool hot hatches from Europe over here in Canada. No M├ęgane RS, No Focus RS, No 147 GTA, no Civic Type-R, no Vauxhall/Opel Astra VXR, nothing...

So I'll have to do with the closest I could find : 2002 Civic Si/SiR based on the european hatchback.
User avatar #55 to #54 - foxxywithpaws (12/08/2012) [-]
Well in that case you have my sympathy. Next year I'm gonna look for a Golf Mk1 1.5 or GTI, depending on my budget. They're the coolest Hot Hatches ever.
Audi technology and Italian design, it's the perfect car. :3
