maybe it released the dmt because your body thinks you are falling asleep?

i somehow doubt that living beings have a built-in reflexiv behaviour of dying...

Not only is it a repost (something I honestly don't care about), but I'm still confused why it was put to a metal album cover.

Pic related, the okay Circle of Contempt.

I that hope when we die we don't get stuck in a void of darkness but we dream about our perfect world and everything would feel real. That would be awesome.

Dr. Duncan "Om" MacDougall (c. 1866 – October 15, 1920) was an early 20th century physician in Haverhill, Massachusetts who sought to measure the mass purportedly lost by a human body when the soul supposedly departed the body upon death. The hypothesis was made that a soul portal formed upon death which then whisked the soul away.

surprisingly every human he weighed lost mass upon death even in a completely closed environment
and sheep gained mass for some time
while several dogs neither gained or loss mass

Sadly his results have never been attempted to be reproduced, and are generally regarded either as meaningless or considered to have had little if any scientific merit.

There is absolutely no solid evidence indicating DMT is released from the brain moments before death. The concept comes from Dr. Straussman in his book DMT The Spirit Molecule, in which he himself admits to his ideas being merely speculation, lacking any basis in empirical evidence. Get your **** right faggot.

Wanted to do the same comment.
There were researches done in the medulla and pons to verify if DMT was actually produced in the brain/body, as in those regions receptors were found that would react to it.
BTW, DMT is a hell of a drug :)

The brain is part of the body too at any rate, but I take your point.

There's no need for me to piss on everyone's parade, it's just a nice image I guess.

it actualy released dmt as it helps you remember almost every tiny detail in your life as it need information on how to servive this situation, like if your drowning it will zoom back to those swimming lessons as a kid, this also explains the, "my life flashed before me" story.
