My first clue was when I found out that if someone hurts themselves while robbing your house, they can sue you, and some of those cases have succeeded

when i got arrested for graffiti, they took 2 computers from my home and spent 3 months searching through every file, folder, search, and upload i had ever done. they also took cameras, cellphones, and videocassettes over 10 years old.

ironically, the only thing of mine linked to graffiti was my 10 year old laptop which was at a friend's house at the time....

Why didn't they just give you a ticket? I mean seriously.

cops in my city rather investigate graffiti writers than rapists/murderers/drug dealers etc.

that said, i did a lot of graffiti

Dear god, if they had an oversight THAT big, I'm more than qualified!!

I hope they someday reopen that trial and ******* crucify this bitch.

They can't. She was acquitted. The fifth amendment protects against double jeopardy.
#40 to #14 - lulzitsdalton (11/26/2012) [-]
Well that's dumb. People should have the freedom to risk all they want on the Daily Double.

Can't they do another trial when new, damning evidence is uncovered?

Also, a conviction in state courts does not count towards federal courts, as addressed by the Rodney King trials. If she was convicted in the state courts, there might still be a chance.

perjury against federal officers?

It doesn't matter. Unless there was something else they could slap something on her that she wasn't tried for at first, she can't be tried again.
#17 to #14 - autoxx (11/26/2012) [-]
There are so many "loophole" laws that double up on other laws it doesn't really matter.
That's why when you commit a crime they charge you with 40 other things...

About 70% of all PC are used with IE for browsing. i know it freaked me out to!
#6 - klldarkness (11/26/2012) [-]
I'm of the opinion that whoever failed to check other browsers search histories, should lose their jobs, and be sanctioned so that they can never get another job like that.

This, is what Florida gets, though. As a Computer Analyst from the "Sunshine State", i can say that their requirements to become a certified computer analyst are extremely lax.

You don't even need an up to date A+ certification. Only state in the entire ******* country. It's a relatively simple 100 multi-choice test.

How to get the same in Ohio?

A+, N+, MSCE, and 4 years experience in a Computer related job. Then, another year of on the job training, before you are even allowed to touch an active investigation.

**** Florida, and all of it's failings. >.>

My girlfriend lives in Florida. Still thumbed for the rest of your rant though.

Anyone that is directly responsible for such an oversight, ruining someone's life, etc. should not only lose their jobs but also imprisoned.
"Rape victims" that have falsely accused someone should be forced to serve the same sentence they tried to tie someone else to.

that sick **** ! myspace? really?
User avatar #26 to #3 - jubnik (11/26/2012) [-]
it was more of suffocating in general, not specifically a child
#4 to #3 - frickbot (11/26/2012) [-]
prolly mostly how to get away with it because i seriously doubt anyone would have to google how to suffocate someone

I think now that if I kill someone, i'm just going to uninstall Chrome from my computer and put like three IE shortcuts on my home screen...

You'd also need to be an attractive female. That's the most important part.
