Actually sir, you've got some things twisted. Both sociopaths and psychopaths are concerned only with their well being, though psychopaths are more outward with it where sociopaths can act normal and use their lack of empathy to be very manipulative. Sociopaths also commit crimes constantly, as it is a disorder characterized by disregard for social conformity and rules applied to them by other people. Both can and are frequently violent, the difference being that sociopaths are more scheming and calculating while psychopaths are more impulsive and erratic. However, don't think that this means sociopaths can't be short tempered as well, because they can react violently to threats in a similar way to psychopaths.

The biggest thing to understand here is that both cases can vary in both severity and violence, and we deal in "tends to" with mental disorders a lot.

In short: both lack compassion for others(concerned for only themselves)
Both lack many emotions. Sociopaths tend toward self fulfillment and psychopaths lean toward having dampened emotions and being materialistic
Both commit crimes often due to a lack of empathy and both can be violent. Both would be plausible for Rabbit's case.

Why is it always naturally assumed sociopaths and psychopaths are always violent and commit crimes on a regular basis?

Psychopaths more so than sociopaths are the evolution of the human mind, you people should be in awe.

Movies shows that psychopaths are insane homicidal fucks. Most people arent even aware of what a psychopath really means. Thats why.
Evolution of human mind? We evolved this far and got so clever because of social behavior. Our intelligence are a product of us having time and safety to develop all these skills, and so we need more time to take care of our young. Working together and communicating is, like ants, a great factor in our mental evolution and thus our spread all over the dahm place

Yes, but we are at the time in society when we would benefit more by logical thinking minds than emotional ones, as it is all the emotional people will not let depopulation happen because it is immoral but it is something that needs to happen in the next 50-100 years.

Do not get me wrong i am not saying go hitler on the jews, more along the lines of restricting the amount of children people are allowed to have and only those with a strong genetic history being allowed to breed.

I like logical thinking, and i agree that our population growth preferably should be around -1% for some decades or longer. Emotions is, i think, what makes people think theyre alive, and what they enjoy and such, so taking that away would make life a bit lacking. I'll go watch some Spock.
I think getting around this problem with logic and emotions is the best way. We could go all china on it, but with both genders.

I think it's more of the impulse. Someone can still have that thrill if they do it, but not have self control issues about it.

A Narcissist feels emotions just like any other person. Though they are incredibly self-centered people. A Sociopath only cares for their well-being and experiences little to no emotion whatsoever. I was diagnosed a Sociopath by my therapist at age 6. I am currently taking classes in Psychology and Nursing so that I can become a therapist. My therapist finds this ironic because I lack the ability to care about people, but I can fake it.

Yes they do. Mainly because they can't recognize other people's emotions. I recognize others emotions, I just lack any sense of empathy. I see my mother crying and I tell her to stop, for example.

Me being a Sociopath doesn't really inhibit my ability to socialize and interact with others. I'm very self-aware. I know how people work. What to say, how to act. I tend to manipulate people instinctively. It's hard not to do it, I've begun to try and stop. It's not really that much different from what I gather. People tend to not care about things unless it affects them or someone close to them. I suppose my mind just takes it a step further. For example: My best friend recently went to rehab for drug, alcohol, and sexual abuse. She called me everyday for the entirety of her stay. Most people would feel something if they learned that they're best friend was in rehab, but I felt nothing- and she could tell. I am rejected by most people. Many of my family members treat me as if I am contagious. They don't believe a word I say. Which is understandable. It can be frustrating sometime knowing that you can't be trusted. But this is who I am. Some of my friends envy me. They say they wish they didn't feel so much. One of my friends even treats me with a element of wonder. He once told me that he believes that Sociopaths are superior to everyone else. I can get pretty much anything out of him. I'm just like you.

I have family, friends, a job, I go to school. I find Psychology interesting due to my own disorders. I'm very intelligent. When I was a kid I spent most of my time reading, and would often read ahead in class. I found school boring because it never really challenged me. I am constantly thinking and that somewhat leaves me distant from other people, but I am not alone. I'm like you.

I see.. Everything apart from friends and job i relate to. I dont have any, and only few on the internet. And lately I've found myself to be fairy cold towards real life events. My granddad died, and i cried once, since it came out of nowhere. When my grandma went on and on about my dead dad, tears streamed out but i felt nothing but annoyance towards it. But i get major feels from fictional stories anyhow..
Also, i guess you know most of this based on the autism thing, cause that was spot on.
