I really do like to surround myself in nature once in a while, and luckily I live near a collection of nature trails. However, upon my first visit, about 15 minutes into the walk, I discovered that the trail was interrupted by a busy highway road, which you had to walk along for a few seconds, past roaring cars 10 feet away, just to continue on your way down the trail.

Ruined the immersion for me.

This is Hyrule. I was born and raised here. This is far more beautiful than any of your video games could possibly be.

I use video games to escape boring reality

Its so much more fun to kill dragons in skyrim than it is to flip burgers at mcdonalds

If it did though... I'd be outside all the time

no you wouldn't
because you can't assassinate people outside, you can't be in open warfare with russia outside, you can't pay for stuff using nuka-cola bottlecaps
face it, outside isn't that great

Wow, really? You just take an average photo-realistic screenshot of a forest and state that real life is not like that?
You people are absolutely blind if can't notice the beauty of the surroundings. I am not even talking about national parks, where nature is in all it's glory, just you local neighborhood on a foggy morning with no people outside. Or that nice vivid gradient on the sky in the evening. I'm surprised how many people miss that.

pic related - a photo I took near my home last winter

I'm sorry, but no amount of mods short of complete redesign can make Windhelm beautiful. That place is **** .

The American Midwest has some pretty gorgeous scenery if you don't go around the smaller cities.

You do realize that video games are based off of reality, not the other way around, right? Reality looks infinitely better.

Well, as far as i know, it can be even more bautiful than this. You need to use the "explore" function in the upper left corner of "life.exe"
