is this what you tell yourself to make yourself feel better
#494 to #492 - doktorandus (11/25/2012) [-]
No, I tell myself other people are dumb to make myself feel better.

But I'm glad you at least try, even if it's the feeblest effort, to understand my train of thought.

I live in Sisters, Oregon. It's a nice town but the Deschutes National Forest is gorgeous. Especially when you get a view of the Three Sisters Mountains.

I am just going to clarify this for everyone: All countries have beautiful areas, surely, but the same countries probably also have a lot of concrete jungle, which in itself isn't very beautiful, but it can be interesting to visit different cities whether you like the culture or if you just want to go have a good time. Why am I starting to sound like an add for some traveling agency?!
#99 to #85 - captnpl (11/25/2012) [-]
You're probably just an npc trying to get people to look for secret areas.

I really do like to surround myself in nature once in a while, and luckily I live near a collection of nature trails. However, upon my first visit, about 15 minutes into the walk, I discovered that the trail was interrupted by a busy highway road, which you had to walk along for a few seconds, past roaring cars 10 feet away, just to continue on your way down the trail.

Ruined the immersion for me.

I use video games to escape boring reality

Its so much more fun to kill dragons in skyrim than it is to flip burgers at mcdonalds
