There is a reason that they're not happy in Gaza, but other than that, this is a pretty spot on, while simplistic sum up of it all.
#18 - anonymous (11/23/2012) [-]
Pretty much sums it up...

To be fair they're not happy in Israel and they blame Israel for that.

Actually, Arabs who live in Israel have significantly higher standard of living then in any surrounding countries.
User avatar #31 to #14 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
Shut the **** up man, first of all it's Palestine. And if you knew a little bit of history you'd be familiar with the fact that Israel litteraly took over Palestine by force and that was after the WWII, so if you may good sir, please tell me who started it?
User avatar #51 to #31 - gatorade (11/23/2012) [-]
There's no starting conflicts over there. The area is conflict itself. If there is anyone to blame it's the British. The Area(including Gaza, and West Bank) was given to the brand new nation called "Israel" Then from there the countries around them that were a majority Islam dominated countries attacked Israel. Israel successfully won those wars but in the process to lower unrest and make people happy, they created Palestine.
User avatar #55 to #51 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
ok we agree that it was the brits fault. However, arab countries back then were too weak to attack israel and in fact israel humiliated them all by defeating them in a war. you see, israel wants the whole middle east. As a lebanese person who's area got bombed by israelian aircrafts I can assure you, israel won't rest until they remove all the surrounding countries.
User avatar #56 to #55 - gatorade (11/23/2012) [-]
You're biased because you went through that. People shouldn't take from Israeli citizens or fighters opinions and people shouldn't take from the other side of the conflict; they're always the most biased opinions
User avatar #59 to #56 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
ok I'll just ask you one question and put every emotion or whatever aside. Was it right to send the israelians to take over the palestinian land without asking its current residents about their opinions?
User avatar #60 to #59 - gatorade (11/23/2012) [-]
In my opinion no. It was Western dominance over the area. a Jewish haven easily could've been put somewhere else. Like in places in Europe.
User avatar #61 to #60 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
that's exactly what I am talking about

yelling at someone who used the name Israel about how everything is the Israeli's fault.
also, the Israeli's lived in "Palestine" for thousands of years before the Palestinians even existed as an ethnic group
User avatar #39 to #37 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
and you realize that the majority of the palestinians are actually descendants of those jews, but as the jewish nation was growing they started to go all over the world and by the time Islam came and the people in palestine adopted it, those who left it were left "without a home" and they were scattered, until they made an agreement with Belfort (not sure if that's how it's spelled) which implied that they will return by force to Palestine.

here's a summary: you don't leave a land for a thousand years and then claim it back after having people in it who made it their home
User avatar #43 to #39 - permass (11/23/2012) [-]
the israeli's didn't take it back it was given to them after ww2 by the united nations. while i agree with your last paragraph, the situation was: someone hands you back the country that you lost. keeping that in mind is quite naturally that you take the offer
User avatar #45 to #43 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
Yeah but back then the UN was basically Britain and France, since they already put a plot on how countries in the middle east should be distributed. Both the US and Russia proposed that the people should chose their fate but the UK and France refused that.
#53 to #45 - Sammael (11/23/2012) [-]
Also, at the time that land belonged to the britain and france, "palestinians" didn't exist, there were several tribal organisations but no unified group, or any sort of government.
They didn't even start calling themselves Palestinians until 1950ies.
User avatar #57 to #53 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
ok, but what do you think is better, letting these tribes decide they're own fate or forcing them to succumb to ruling that they don't agree on?
#62 to #57 - Sammael (11/23/2012) [-]
There was also a problem that all of those tribes were pretty much at war with... every other tribe. You couldn't get them to decide on anything.
But, its history, and constantly complaining about it is just bitching.
Truth is Israel has been around for nearly sixty years. There are grandparents now who were born in Israel, generations.
Mistake to give them that country or not, its there, and its not going anywhere, right now taking them out of it would be a horrible crime.
And if Hamas realises what Fatah did, that Israel will never go away, and that if they start negotiating and working WITH Israel it would benefit everyone.
After Fatah stopped and recognised Israel in their territories Israel has started multiple economic programs. People under Fatah live far far better then those under Hamas.
Peace creates wealth, growth, trade, LIFE. Continuing conflict just creates more hate, poverty, disease and benefits no one but war profiteers.
User avatar #64 to #62 - thegrohltroll (11/23/2012) [-]
I agree with you on peace issues, but here's the thing, both parts don't want peace, it is the human nature. And right now I am talking about the origin of the problem which was 60 years ago just to clarify who started the war. Now I know that things wont end peacefully, it will be the annihilation of one of them and it's really sad

Muslims in Turkey have a good life, so I dont think this is right!
User avatar #11 - xkmarcus (11/23/2012) [-]
Or you could look at it like this, all the people who were, and are unhappy in Muslim countries, have and will try to leave those countries to go to non-Muslim countries.

Easy enough to understand.
User avatar #15 to #11 - Faz (11/23/2012) [-]
Congratulations, you said exactly what he said in the content. They are unhappy with their own country so they move to non Muslim countries....then they **** up non Muslim countries and try to turn non Muslim countries into Muslim countries. Im not saying they all do because i have quite a few Muslim friends are happy the way things are, but a large portion do want to change things, a large portion want sharia law and even enforce it in their communities when its illegal.
User avatar #23 to #15 - xkmarcus (11/23/2012) [-]
That's not what I said actually, what I said is very different to what this post says, even though I think this post is complete ******** , it's more likely that it's the good people from Muslim countries that move to other countries, and are generally happy (that is until people like you come along and tell them they're ruining everything).

So to sum it up, the Muslims that are in different countries would have different views and opinions compared to some Muslims in Muslim countries, and those views would be because of who they are as people, not what country they came from, or lived in.
User avatar #38 to #23 - Faz (11/23/2012) [-]
You are probably saying all this without first hand experiencing what its like to live next to a huge Muslim community aren't you? White knights on the internet love to defend people when knowing nothing of the subject. I live in a town in England which is about 50/50 white to Muslim. I live next to the largest Muslim area in my town and as soon as it gets dark i can't go through that area because multiple times i've had groups of Muslims chasing me whenever i have tried to go through at night. The police wont even do anything about it because if you arrest a Muslim the entire Muslim community shout about how the police are being racist and the scum committing the crimes go free. Last year my cousin and his friend were walking down the street at about 1am, they were walking home from a party when 4 Muslim men jumped out of the car and started beating them with tire irons and steering locks, the police found out who did it. CCTV showed the cars number plate and it was easy to trace it back to who it was but as soon as the police found out it was Muslims who did it they never arrested them, they gave them a £100 fine and that was it.

Just recently took a Homeland Security class and learned a lot about Muslim faith and their ideology. Everything you've said so far is spot on. Things are just gonna get worse because people just decide to turn the other cheek when something happens with them like you said with the oh, they found out that they're Muslim so they didn't do anything because they start using the race/religion card.

User avatar #66 to #38 - xkmarcus (11/23/2012) [-]
Incidents like that aren't restricted to one group of people, that might be true in your area, but people from all groups around the world partake in such activities, and again, it depends on the individual person, if those people were Christian, or Jewish, they'd probably still be assholes.
User avatar #71 to #66 - Faz (11/23/2012) [-]
Yeah but Muslims are still coming from countries which they complain about to better countries then making them worse for everyone.
User avatar #8 - cakemachine (11/23/2012) [-]
They live in countries that are constantly under attack. If not with conventional warfare then with economic warfare. Please read more books before simplifying things that you don't understand and generalizing about people you don't know.

you do realise that countries like the US and Britain can instantly destroy a country economically and only fight against rebels like al-queida, but not against the governments because they already have the local government n an economic chokehold
