I was mainly experimenting; I usually draw more along the lines of anthropomorphic creatures, especially wolves. They're generally more human but with wolfish features. Pic related = example of a character I made for sale a while ago.

XD I wouldn't call myself a furry/anthro fan. I just learn things through imitation. A friend of mine drew my character for me and I was watching, and I learnt how to develop anthro wolves from her, then added my own styles of hair and shading into it. And that ppicture makes me think of Shaggy.

I kind of levelled off a majority of art, all together. Moved on to things closer to talents I've held for years: one with words.
Example, I combined my love of artistic styles to one of my poems. You might need to zoom. idk.

Wait... So he died? What did he die from? I love the style, and the poem was so close to giving me a feel, but I just didn't get it all...

xD It's about my best friend, who died in January. I wrote that a couple months after, in English class where we'd been looking at a poem written in the early Victorian era that looked closely at psychological instability. I kind of looked toward myself when doing that, and at the kind of way my brain was at the time. Every flicker of light seemed like his hair to me, because I'm weird. The idea of the poem was that the narrator was joined by the spirit of their dead loved one, who tried to comfort them but had to go, and leave them to heal and move on. It was kind of looking towards a combination of schizophrenia and depression, and the way grief can sometimes cause very temporary bouts of schizophrenia, especially for those who have lost the person who holds their heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss...

Last year, at the Utøya shootings here in Norway, two of my friends were killed. I know the feeling of losing someone close.

I remember reading about that and I got pissed off because everyone here was going on about Amy Winehouse. Big whoop, she's a singer who was a drug addict, she died at 27 omg kurt cobain died at 27 its a massive conspiracy 2 take out all da gud singrs. xD Grotesque humor eh? I like that. I have no issue with gore, but when it applies to me, I almost puke. Like if I have ever been cut by a knife, watching someone slowly slice open someones throat physically hurts me...

My parents are arguing over whether you guys are +1GMT or not. xD Mother asks what time it is there. I don't know much about Ragnarok, when I'm in the mood for reading mythology, I have more sources on Greek, and I'm generally away from internet access at the time. I know a little of Norse, but not nearly enough.

Ooo love Daft Punk. Im pretty colorblind so I don't tend to use many colors unless someone is there to tell me which is which.

honestly i rarely use color, unless im tagging something i'll just use a black pen/sharpie. alot of my drawings are "messy", but its kind of my own style. pic related its biggie, also i wish i could blend colors, ive never figured out how to do that. by the way i love your style, clean and creative, i just do portraits, im still learning though, most of my drawings are just experimental. id really like to see some more of your work

Ah the thing I struggle with the most is anatomy and human faces. I want more than anything to be able to draw them but I'm so terrible at it.

haha im the exact opposite, im really bad at drawing landscapes and random objects but im somewhat good at faces and people. heres one of my favorite bands i did for a project last year, kind of drifted away from solid shadows now and i do alot of cross hatching. id really like to see when its shaded, its coming along nicely

How do you even practice anatomy? Its so hard to get ir right because if one little thing is off you instantly notice it. Rammstein, nice.

i used to do alot of pencil drawings so i got good at faces, its really just alot of trial and error until you get it right, if youre drawing a picture of someone and it doesnt look like them step back and look at it at a distance and its really easy to tell what the problem is. but with faces its less of contour lines and more shading, you can make someone look completely different if you shade it wrong. but on another note i really admire your pictures, its stuff i could never comprehend, do you come up with all these drawings on your own? i cant really imagine something like that and just put it on paper, i can look at something and draw it, but i cant do this. heres a drawing i did of drake for a girl, another example of my alternative kind of messy way of drawing

I get inspried by various things but mostly I just whip these up out of no where. I really want to start drawing people but whenever I do I cover them up with armor so I don't have to try faces or hands or anything.

of course, hands are my worst nightmare. sometimes i can draw them, other times i cant. hands are weird, ill draw a hand and it will look like a hand, but out of place, as in it should be in a different pose or angle or whatever.
