Schizophrenia is where the body can't control how much dopamine is being released into the brain. A person suffering from schizophrenia would most likely be more creative than they were before it developed

Actually, the opposite usually occurs with schizophrenia. In fact, lots of psychologists today are disputing the fact that Louis Wain had schizophrenia because, "his technique and skill as a painter did not diminish, as one would expect from a schizophrenic."

This is actually in a text book I had for a health class, at least the first and sixth pictures. It was labeled as something along the lines of "A demonstration of the effects of schizophrenia has on perceiving reality".

I don't exactly remember, but I think this was a case study of an artist going through a mental health disorder and people cataloging his art as he progressed deeper in to the illness.
