The "poor" people are actually just the ones that get welfare checks because they can't put away the ******* angel powder. No offense, but saying Romney is an asshole because he wants to support and help the smart and hardworking is just a load of **** in my opinion.

Vote gary johnson.

(paid for by the commission of no one from nowhere)
User avatar #150 to #132 - dutchbag (11/06/2012) [-]
The libertarians, or any 3rd party for that matter, has no chance. The way to support him is to campaign and vote on local and maybe state level. This way they can build a support base and later they may have a serious shot.
User avatar #152 to #150 - darthtomale (11/06/2012) [-]
what i know is there is one more 19 year old male whose name went on the list of people who voted for gary johnson. thats good enough for me

Just saying. Inform your friends, family, and generally make humble beginnings for them. Start with your county and the ones around.

no there are many parties, some do not have the opportunity to appear on the ballot in each state as there are requirements in each one, for example in California 1% of its citizens must be in favour of them appearing. Also, the two main parties Republican and Democrat dominate the electoral system as they cover a massive range of the ideological spectrum (ideas and policies) due to different factions (groups of people with certain ideas) and so there is not much room for smaller more ideologically specific parties.
IM BRITISH AND I KNOW THIS **** , AMERICAN POLITICS A LEVEL ftw.

no there are a ******* of parties. but only the two main parties get mass representation in the media and official debates.
User avatar #128 to #126 - Sharpy (11/06/2012) [-]
Nah, I can vote for Mickey Mouse if it really pleases me. It's not that we can't vote for anyone else, it's that what's the point? The only two parties really represented in the election are the Democrats and Republicans, there are plenty of other parties running this year you just hear nothing about them.

They're incredibly impressionable morons, so the majority of them are only being influenced by who's getting all the propaganda. I'm proud of my gf, she's american and she's voting for the green party.

Regardless of outcome it's always the same scenario, specially like with crayons, there's white and black ones, white ones may never be used but they're always there to keep the black ones in line.

Why would you even CONSIDER voting for Romney?
User avatar #109 to #99 - liquidz (11/06/2012) [-]
Because he did'nt go and put in the NDAA at the last second at midnight on new years eve then tell everyone he was against it.

It's not like it indefinitely detains Americans... oh wait... it FREAK'n DOES!
#143 to #109 - largenintimidating (11/06/2012) [-]
Oh, you mean the NDAA that passed Congress by a wide enough margin to override a veto?

The NDAA that Romney has said he'll support?
