How did you get rid of the Huntsmen you can only get that by a milestone and after that you can't trade it.

It can also drop.I've seen people selling them,i sold a vintage one,but you can sell normal ones.

so you have played 170 hours and didn't think of crafting or unlocking anything yet?

I've found that exept for a veeerry few crates(salvaged mainly) you lose on the deal 75% of the time.

The only crate i'd open is #30,but thats for a strange machina.

unlocking as in getting an achievement milestone. You get a huntsman after about 5 sniper achievements for example

i didn't see what i wanted when i tried crafting, and i don't think i have the materials for any sniper weapons

I usually stay in one spot and snipe, although I don't always get headshots. i like to counter other snipers or snipe heavys. i don't usually play the class if there aren't heavys or snipers

Hmm,if you are playing against an overhealed heavy the Machina's headshot is an instakill.I really havent used anything other than stock and machina(i tried sydney sleeper,but no headshots lowers my dps a lot,and bow is too hard to hit from long way away with)

what about the hitman's heatmaker?

If i remeber correctly the HH shortens its charge time for each headshot you get,but you lose 1 headshot every time you bodyshot/miss

The Machina is good for not promoting situational awareness which will hurt you in the long run. Spending that much time zoomed in makes you spy bait. And the spies know exactly where you are thanks to the tracer. Really the Machina is only good if the other team's spy is retarded.

The only true competitor imo to stock is Jarate+Bushwacka. Shahansha is also good.
