The only difference between Obama and Romney is that Romney gives zero ***** about how openly he spends his money. They're both pretty damn rich.

Also, who cares if he's rich. Everyone's making it look like the poor beggar is smarter than the rich bureaucrat. It's not a fairy tale people. Being rich doesn't mean you're evil.

pic related, it's all the diehard liberals attacking me

So what. He doesn't have to give it all away. He still does. Plus all of his hours of volunteer time. Does he have more hours?

When you're that rich, it's not that exciting to get a third jet, so the thing most people do is give it away to charity.

I'm staunchly independent, nice try.

It's like Warren Buffet or Bill gates giving their stuff away, too - it doesn't really affect them personally when they have that incredible amount of money, so it doesn't really mean a damn thing.

Romney gave up his free time to help the needy. Countless hours. What does that have to do with being rich? Nothing. Quit your class warfare ********. Obama has just as much money to give away.

"Obama has just as much money to give away"
lolwhat
It's good that Romney gave up his time to help the needy (which I only assume is the truth; you aren't citing anything that he actually did).
Well, good for him. That doesn't mean my point - the one about giving away money - isn't valid.
They're 2 seperate points, not relating to this "class warfare" ******** that you were bringing up.

Obama donated a total of 1 billion in his life to charity. Biden 100$ I believe I may be wrong. Obama is filthy rich too.

It was most recently estimated that Obama makes roughly $800,000/year.

Romney makes tens of millions.

They're both rich, but Romney is magnitudes richer.

"American media makes it out so that you can only vote for Obama or Romney"
The American media has no direct control of the elections, they just televise and report on these. And it comes down to two candidates because that's just what it boils down to.

There are 6 major people running for president. Not just the top two. The closet third place candidate is Libertarian Gary Johnson

Former Governor of New Mexico, I know.
No one has interest in a third party, thus, it's narrowed down to the two.

The media definetly plays a big role in the elections. Paryially why some dropped out was because they simply didn't get enough attention from the media (and hence from the peple who rely too heavily on the media, which is most americans.)

No, media stopped covering them because people lost interest in these candidates.
Are you even american? If not, don't tell us what we too heavily rely on.

No, I'm not american. But I follow your politics because they have an effect on the rest of the world. And yes, I agree, people lost interest. In part because of the media, who can make things interesting if they are so prompted. The media are a powerful tool in the hands of politicians.
And not to be rude, but americans do indeed rely heavily on the media, no country watches television as much as the US, by far. (I think 8h per day for the average american, followed by turkey- 5h.)

As an american, most of those 8 hours (sourceless) are spent watching local news, traffic, weather, occasional hollywood movies, and other informational things. Americans' lack of interest in politics (kind of sad) means that not all of them are being spoon-fed by media moguls and talking-head pundits, as you Master Race Europeans would be led to believe.

The concept of "television" is becoming more and more blurred anyways. Access to the internet on smartphones and other mobile appliances is something any technologically modern country should expect (if mass availability and low cost are realized).

so here is a little personal story that might shed some more light on this picture. Aunt and uncle are die hard liberals. my little cousin just earned some extra money helping out her girl scout troop. She was telling me how her parents and her were going to donate it to charity. So i asked her if she enjoyed donating to the less fortunate. She smiled looked at her parents and said of course. Being the smart ass republican I am. I said "well would you like to help me donate money to the less fortunate too?" you can come over and work for me raking leaves and I'll pay you then we can give that money to the homeless man who lives behind stop and shop. she thought about this for a second. then said "why don't you just pay him to do it". I smiled and gave her a hug "welcome to the republican party" My aunt and uncle haven't talked to me since lol
