Yeah lol, I was sore for 9 years straight it seems like. What weight are you?
User avatar #113 to #112 - notevenmad (11/01/2012) [-]
currently at 145, might try and drop the weight. what i really wanna do though is gain weight and go up to about 155-160. I'm 16 atm also.
User avatar #116 to #113 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
Oh nice I wrestled at 145 my freshman year (4 years ago), then gained to 152 my sophmore/junior year, then I lost a **** load of fat (cut down to 8% from 11%) and wrestled the 145 class at 141-144 pounds all senior year. Made it to regionals then got raped.
User avatar #120 to #116 - notevenmad (11/01/2012) [-]
i'm telling ya man, guys our weight can be big as **** ! but the thing is, that's more of weight lifting muscle, which is sorta more for show, wrestlers have the true strength, like, the muscle underneath the muscle. idk if you get what i'm saying.

and you shocked me, i thought FJ was full of a bunch of skinny emo haired kids lol.

And i just moved schools, the school i'm at currently won state last year so i have to step it up big time haha.
User avatar #123 to #120 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
Yeah I know what you mean. Its called lean muscle. We lifted in the weight room but everyone else was more concerned with how much they could get up and not strength training. I pretty much lifted for reps all four years because strength is what matters.
I WOULD post a picture of my physique but I dont want to be thumbed to hell lol.
User avatar #124 to #123 - notevenmad (11/01/2012) [-]
finally someone who gets it! ahh, people who are so concerned about looks should go back to football. haha! jk ..
User avatar #128 to #124 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
hahahaa thats so funny you say that, we used to always give the football players **** because they would have max days where they just lifted for 5-4-3-2-1 reps...literally just for size, which is good for football, but not as effective on the field. Just for weight gaining.
User avatar #129 to #128 - notevenmad (11/01/2012) [-]
yeah, wrestling you gotta have physical and mental strength, looking buff as hell, but getting thrown around by a kid that looks half your size would be embarrasing.. haha
User avatar #131 to #129 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
Yeah we would wrestle the football team every other week to give THEM a workout lmao. I always loved those days. Our 45, 52, and 60 classes could handle their 180-200 pounders, it was hilarious.

wrestling, and puberty did the trick for me.. wrestling made my chest and shoulders bigger, i think my shoulders are pretty broad. but the thing that made my chest pump out more was, during wrestling, even the slightest **** up by anyone, the coach would make up stay in push ups position for 2 minutes, and do like 10 pushups in between those 2 minutes. Sorry i accidently english in that paragraph im eating and holy **** i dont have the patience to be a grammar fag omg i love subway omg yum but yeah pic related its me

i getcha! i'm not even joking with you man.. wrestling kicked my ass everyday. if you've wrestled before at home or anywhere with like friends, you know that wrestling for 2 minutes is exhausting. there was one point in wrestling practice where we were in a group of 4 (including me) i was number 1, partner was number 2, etc. the guy with the number 1 had to wrestle all the other guys non stop then it went to the number 2 wrestle everybody. so there was one point i wrestled for 12 minutes straight. i couldnt feel anything .. lol . and to top it off, i heard "OK LINE IT UP" and when i heard that i knew i was gonna throw up. It means to line up on one side of the mat, and do suicides there and back 3 times, then another weight class goes, then you go again.. i've never had my legs feel like jello until then jesus christ

User avatar #130 to #64 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
34 pounds in 5 months isnt "little progress" LOLOL.....you serious right now? Youre counting water weight. Weigh yourself as soon as you wake up every morning, thats how you avoid measuring water weight. You can fluctuate up to 9 pounds in water weight every day.
User avatar #274 to #130 - jalthelas (11/01/2012) [-]
I weigh in every Saturday morning... I lost all my water weight the first week, about 6 lbs. I've been naturally losing weight these past 5 months. Just regular exercise and healthy eating. No ridiculous diets or extreme workouts.
User avatar #142 to #130 - zepplien (11/01/2012) [-]
*IF* I count my water weight I can say I lost 40 lbs. Your broscience is through the roof. Your water weight cant add up to 10lbs. 6 probably at most. 34 in 5 months is little progress. In 5 months you can lose 50-65. Which is what he should be aiming for.
User avatar #282 to #142 - jalthelas (11/01/2012) [-]
What if I don't have 50-65 lbs. to lose?
User avatar #148 to #142 - usmcoorah (11/01/2012) [-]
I don't know what textbooks youre reading or wikipedia page you have pulled up, but 50-65 pounds is just not realistic if youre going at it all natural with just diet and exercise. And actually, I would fluctuate 7-9 pounds during wrestling season every day in water weight through sweat. So yeah, it can add up to 10lbs if youre hydrated.
User avatar #227 to #148 - zepplien (11/01/2012) [-]
I cut for wrestling and I weighed in before and after every workout. I would only see 3-5 diference. Unrealistic? Really? Diet and good exercise. Real mother ******* training will get you there. I've seen it happen. Unrealistic is just what faggots like you want to say when they're too scared to work hard and want to tell people **** they dont know about.

Fat-free, low-sugar, low-carb
Caged-free / antibiotic free eggs
Rice: 2 days per week
Pasta: 1 day per week
Meat: Beef - 1 day per week, Fish - 3 days per week, Chicken - 2 days per week, Pork - Once a month, Turkey - Substitute anywhere (ex. use ground turkey in spaghetti sauce instead of ground beef)
Vegetables: Carrots - one meal per day, Green leafy often (All you can eat)

Workout: Cardio 6 days/week, Weight Training 3 days/week

And my older brother (an Air Force civilian) makes workout sheets for me to use for a couple of weeks at a time.

I started going to the gym, eating healthier, cut my justin beiber faggot hair, picked up the guitar, studied more, put myself into social situations, made an effort.

I needed an asshole to tell me to wake the **** up and take charge.
Well guess what, I'm your asshole. Make sure that your life is a happy one.
