curious question, why does every sentence actually start with a capital letter?
like, whats the roots of it, and the purpose?

I think it's because a full stop is pretty small, so you might miss it. Maybe it's to add extra importance to the start of a sentence too?
#196 to #193 - anonymous (10/30/2012) [-]
Along with punctuation, It helps the reader know when a new sentence is starting.

>You type up resume for a job.
>Nothing is capitalized, at all.
>Employer sees this.
>Ihinks it's written by a 10 year old.
> He laughs, and tosses your application and resume in the garbage.
>This happens a lot.
>You never get called or any interview for a job by anyone.
>You're a broke, jobless loser who trolls the internet.
>Family loses all respect for you and you soon do too.
>You're soon found naked, dead, hanging from your doorknob from a failed self erotic asphyxiation attempt
>Don't end up dead from a failled self erotic asphyxiation attempt and learn to use correct grammar

>implying i do this too at daily basis

works is works, internet is internet
can't see why i should bother to use proper spelling nor grammar at a place like this, that intended to be a place for having fun
User avatar #244 to #225 - xxkelevraxx ONLINE (10/30/2012) [-]
"because not capitalizing word mean no success in life" It says life, meaning every aspect of life. Unless your life is nothing but the internet then me implying what I did was 100% correct. Life, to me, means job, family, living OUTSIDE the internet. the internet is a past time, not life.
User avatar #246 to #244 - zameckis (10/30/2012) [-]
and guess what you just done?
judging someone life over internet

User avatar #253 to #246 - xxkelevraxx ONLINE (10/30/2012) [-]
I'm enjoying my time before I go to work. Besides, since when did I become a hypocrite? You said I implied some things so I proved that I only took what you said in correct context and offered a reason why you could possibly mean it in another way than the way it was presented. I didn't judge your life, just breaking down the information you supplied and offered a reasonable scenario. that being said, I need to get dressed for work. have to be there soon. Later!
User avatar #255 to #253 - zameckis (10/30/2012) [-]
and now running away from argument
yeah yeah
User avatar #256 to #255 - xxkelevraxx ONLINE (10/30/2012) [-]
Sorry, I have more important responsibilities then and argument on the internet. Not running away, just prioritizing what is truly important in my life.

User avatar #268 to #265 - zameckis (10/30/2012) [-]
i don't say i don't accept that you have job
nor i say that i don't put my trust upon you

all i just say is, i completely believe in you
perhaps, something on your mind maybe?

Industrialized society will expect the highest of it's people, and basic grammar is one of the first steps towards a better life. It may not seem like much, but it makes a giant impact on your life. If you were to not follow the laws of written language, society will constantly hammer in the fact that you need to learn it. Society will stop you from ascending in life.
Or you could just go deal drugs or some **** . Your life, dude.
User avatar #229 to #224 - zameckis (10/30/2012) [-]
valid point, but have you considered that this place is just a mere funny site?
not somekind of job vacancy?
i fail to see why i should use proper spelling
if society at internet think i'm 12 y'old because of my grammar/spelling
that's cool, we are here just for fun anyway
User avatar #233 to #229 - anonemus (10/30/2012) [-]
You could have enlightened us to the fact that you only do this on the internet.
Now, before you go all "it was implied" on me, let me tell you this.
Never underestimate others over the internet. There are people that are just that stupid as to not capitalize anything ever. You'll have to excuse me for thinking you were one of them.
User avatar #237 to #233 - zameckis (10/30/2012) [-]
you have my excuse, in fact, i already stated it at my previous comment

you seems pretty fair gentlemen i must say,
for not shoving up grammar and spelling things to me.

you earn my respect

It's easier to take the high road on arguments. It gets the argument done faster, everybody's happy, and we can all go back to laughing at things faster.

pardon my horrible spelling/grammer in this rant

"lol lets kill her"
(just about every dingle berry ****** person in the comments)
seriously? what is the point, would it not be better to try and tell her that it is a needed part of the language so people can understand you better.
what i have noticed is that in this new world of data and computers, of insane amounts of communication that people have become more and more isolated, blind and hateful, and flat out stupid, and i don't just mean school smarts
i mean the ability to be compassionate caring and logical, to think on our own,
to be our own person...to be a individual, unique human being...yet still be able to integrate and socialize with the other individuals, we have lost that in this new age...we have lost the ability to be truthful but not cruel. In this new world we have lost the ability to better our self's from mistakes to learn from our **** ups, because we refuse to be wrong, because we assume we know every thing. we complain about the government, yet we rely on them for every thing, we hate them yet we need them.
we are hypocrites or we are blind to our Ouroboros, we obsess over the smallest things and ignore the big problems, we make fun of mass loss of human life, then sob when a pop star dies only to forget them later, we generalize millions of people upon the from the acts of a few, crazy, misguided, people, we take their faces and apply it to millions. we don't ask questions, we don't read in-between the lines, we hand our lives over to a man in a suit and hope he will do the right thing, and then get angry when he dose the "wrong thing" , we condemn children for the sins of a father,
we mock the weak, and hate the strong, we either focus on the past to the point we cant move on, or we refuse to learn from the mistakes of our fathers and end up repeating them.
but, that's just my view on things that i have observed.

A sea of respect for mentioning the Ouroboros. People should become aware of the fact they they're destroying themselves, other then others destroying them or "society".
