Thats just the type of champion she is. She can throw minions and other's "pets". All about controlling things and orbs with her powers. You should check out the game.

Try some of the 450 champs, annie, ashe, master yi, etc. You'll find that once you actually start getting good these champs aren't as common, but they're good for learning with. If you want to play actual strong champs, try to buy rengar, morgana, blitzcrank, alistar, jayce, and yorick.

Ashe is a decent carry, Poppy is basically invincible once you get her past level 8(without getting behind on levels), but right now? Try Nautilus he's free atm.

Find an easy champ to run with, I started with Ashe and just built the recommended build for awhile, it's much easier to pick a champ that's "recommended" in the store because the are not difficult at all to play, plus their cheap, Ashe is 450IP I believe. It's just practice, pay attention to the tips in the tutorial like not getting molested by the turret, that's what minions are for. Essentially, just practice on bots, and go from there, learn from other players.

Oh, and if you want a fantastic build, I recommend solomid.net OR mobafire.com, although I prefer solomid. These will give you the most detailed descriptions of a champion, how to use them, and what to build. Assuming the guide is Approved or Featured.

don't listen to the guy below me. Nautilus is a jungler and you shouldn't start out trying that. My suggestion. look at all the characters that might interest you. Pick one out. Google how to build them (what items to get). and then practice on bots. Garen is super easy to play though. Oh and google how to set up smart casting. It's amazing to use in my opinion.

DotA 2 has way to much delay for Australia.... bit too hard to deny and last hit on a server that has a 1 sec delay and I still have to compete with the other no delay player's denying/last hitting...

Really? First week I got into Dota 2 every game had people that complained and raged or simply bailed and the learning curve is already steep enough without so many people being jack offs. When I started league it was dozens of games filled with people derping around because we had no idea how to play and hardly a complaint in the bunch. The complaints come when you get higher up and I am sure that is the same for both games.

IMO, a community doesn't matter, it's the game. I could care less if I went on CoD and had every pre-teen call me a faggot, as long as I'm enjoying the game. If everyone acted like that, the harsher communities would die out, because they aren't getting the entertainment of harassing someone. But again, this is my opinion. You may disagree. And that's perfectly fine.

Dude DoTA is what spawned LoL... DoTA 2 is only in beta and is going to be free as well. Personally I find DoTA 2 to be more fast paced than LoL and for some reason i like it more (probably because DoTA was one of the first custom games i ever played on WC3)

But look at it this way, DoTa doesn't have very many players, it has a decent sized community, but nowhere close to LoL, plus LoL is growing exponentially everyday, they're a growing company, and yes, DoTa may have spawned LoL, but LoL is so much more. Yes, the whole release a champ every 3 weeks is kind of annoying, but it's nothing a Champion spotlight and a couple premade games can't fix, I've played DoTa and I personally don't like it. A lot of gamers on LoL have played DoTa and will largely disagree if you say DoTa > LoL. I respect your opinion entirely, there's nothing wrong with liking DoTa more, but you really have to play both to get the feel.

I've noticed countries tend to hop in and out of games, WoW was a huge portion of gaming, and now the expansion hasn't even hit a million sales, where Cataclysm reached 7 million. Starcraft is also dying out, not as many people are joining and playing, their average hours has dropped severely off their peak. And DoTa2 is closed off to everyone except a slight percentage. The point being, All games grow to a massive peak, and if you're not in, you're not cool, and then die out, moving onto a new game for the phase. I can only hope LoL doesn't die out within a few years, as right now, they are growing quite fast. In one season the grand prize went from what was under a million, to 5 million for the victor.

I read on reddit that they are gonna slow down on champion releases and focus more on game modes, champion resigns, skins and themes from now on. That Darius, Draven and Jayce super quick champion releases was just too ridiculous.

I used to run Volibear, who is a very tanky fighter, probably impossible to solo without Madred's or high AD/AP, and even then, Thunder Claws would tear them apart with such low resistance/health, then I bought Shyvana and she's just a tanky DPS, and Olaf is just Beast too. You have to get well rounded with champs. If you joined now, Syndra is free this week, and just got buffed. I played her a couple games and she is SO OP at farming. This buff only makes it worse. just stick with bots instead of pvp, and you don't have to play with people, you can make a custom with all bots, and you don't have to listen to anyone whine.

TL;DR: Free week has an OP mage, and just round yourself with 3-5 champs.

Dota came out WAY before LoL. I like them both, don't get me wrong.
But I like Dota a little more, but that's just the art style (and I have more friends who play Dota)


But it's all a matter of preference, play what you like better.

Yeah, I don't get why people have to fight about it, it's stupid, people need peas and harmony, We CAN be friends. It's just like the flame war between the consoles, pointless, annoying, and deducting from your fun. They are both great, (in both moba and console cases) and people should just pick one they like and not be a dick about it. It would save a lot of time, rage, and effort.
