Greeks were able to accept same-sex couple thousands of years ago- so why can't we today?
The greek often had same sex relationships among men. It was also very common for a 32 year old man to impregnate a 12 to 16 year old girl. (for instance, when Odysseus is stranded on an island, he is found by a 13 year old girl who is attracted to him, while he was at least 35 at the time).
It was also common among Spartans to let your wife have sex and a child with the "alpha male" of your group.
Also, if you're talking about the old greeks, remember that they were different "tribes", so to speak (like the Spartans and Athene) rather than one united country. The Athenes here the more democratic and peacefull ones and the Spartans, well, I don't think I have to explain the Spartans.
Hope this teached you something new :)
