Graphite can be coloured. And if done right it comes out very smooth. You learn a few things even after a year or two in an Art class.

I'm not arguing about the legality at all, it's destruction of property and I would hate for someone to do it to my stuff. I'm saying a majority of people do appreciate the art aspect of recognized graffiti artists, and usually that group of people go through the proper steps to display their art in cities or wherever as opposed to doing it whenever and where ever they please.
