Panels 6+7 they're speaking out of pure bravado
Panel 9 is talking about a ninja who gets "killed" at one point in the show and then comes back
I don't know about any of the rest of them but most of them seem like they could easily be valid translations.

i think renji was first referring to(props ichigos) tendency not to die and the fact that after you die you just go to soul society..the first one was actually a bad translation gurren toppa and one piece were just made as a joke and i think l was talking about stagin his own death or something...
