A small, fast bullet is more likely to go through than a bigger, slow bullet. A 9mm bullet may do less damage than a .45 for example, but at close range they will still kill you or cause massive damage.
Don't believe 100% of what you see on TV.

Are you retarded? Most 9mm will go 10-15 inches through flesh before stopping...that is enough penetration to lodge itself in the other leg if it misses the bone
