That, my friend, is bullshit. Most homeless people know no other life, and have been in a state of constant suffering since childhood. "Significant mental illness is present in 30-50% of the homeless" (http:// bjp [url deleted] .short) then "About 50 to 60 percent of homeless people report substance abuse [issues]." (link below). Between these combinations, we can draw that "most" homeless people are actually in serious need of assistance, mainly for medical reasons, and therefore are seriously suffering daily as a result. So no, most people do not "like" being homeless. Think before you speak

Then there's some that just have severe mental problems and are simply unable to hold a job and responsibilities, they don't grasp the concept. Then there's the addicts... It's not as simple as Homeless(job+money)=normal person

If they were so good at brutally killing people, that they were set free for it, we'd be completely screwed over. Instead the winner gets to choose their cellmate, get better food, get off death row and instead stay for life, get more TV time or video games, better beds, etc.

imagnetsux (08/21/2012) [-] meh. i have a little tent in a section of the woods, and i come down to charge my computer in a cafe. the biggest disadvantage is without a source of electricity in my house i can't have a proper gaming platform (my computer is a netbook). and it gets pretty hot in the middle of the day. it's not as bad as most people think it is though, and it's actually better than my last appartment because of the roommate i had there. never cleaned up and always tried to cheat my mom out of her money.

imagnetsux (08/21/2012) [-] no lol. some people, god bless them, have to eat out of the trash but not me. my mom still gets alimony and child support from my dad so we can buy food. you might want to see if you can get on some sort of government funding. im not advocating fraud but you should find out if you qualify for anything and sign up. make sure you have something lined up ahead of time for you when you're ready to go back inside or you could end up like me.

imagnetsux (08/21/2012) [-] my mom had this idea to go to europe to start a new life. great right? few months later we had to come back (it's possible we'll go again someday and get to stay this time) and it's just really hard to find an apartment. it's really hard to hold down a job without a house too, if you try to do it on your own you're gonna have a bad time. it's great that you don't want to take more than your share but it's not a good idea to do it without any help.
