Hey guys...let's wait until a fandom posts 10,000 pictures of meetups online...then browse it for the least flattering one.

(I've been to 6 meetups and the average brony looks...well, average.)

There's no such thing as a flattering brony meet up...

That one is actually downright hilarous, yet it's also the picture I think of when I think of what's wrong with this fandom. The only "flattering" ones are at cosplay meetups where people stick to their damn character genders. Other than that, 99% of meetup pics look average by American standards at least.

Same here, it's easier just to casually watch the show than associate yourself as a brony. I don't obsess, I don't buy toys, I don't go around flaunting how I watch the show. I just watch it occasionally and move on with my life. I only talk to friends that play it and associate some of my Xbox stuff with it. Such as my tag in BF3 simply being PONY. That's as far as it goes.

Yea, it has pretty much become those that are normal people are casual bronies. But those that are a little odd and maybe a bit...out of it....tend to be those who become those that people hate, and sadly associate all bronies with. A lot of new people into the "community" tend to be heavy into it. But it eventually calms down.

Yeah I know it's crazy. All the newfags I see are heavy into OCs basically worshipping MLP. They shoot out really bad fanfics disgusting OC Alicorns with retarded backgrounds. The there's the oldfags who are still all "love & tolerate" brianwashed when even they knew it was just to "troll". It really shows what happens to most communities

Basically, I came in about a year ago so a little around the start of the second season. Like many newfags I became a little heavy into it. but as time passed I began to realize how pathetic a lot of the people were. So I made the decision not to associate myself with the general populace.

I still stand by doing and watching what you enjoy though, so I will by no means stop watching the show.
