Don't know switch is switch.

I felt my house had an unnessacary number of light switches when I lived with my parents. And the genius who lived there before put a three switch decorative cover on two switches so it made it even worse. So there four switches in all three bathrooms, 3 in the garage, 5 for the living room 8 for the kitchen, 1 for my room, 2 for the guest bedroom. 3 for the office, 4 for my grandparents room, 6 for the master bedroom, 4 for the entry way, and 3 for the den. Seriously, wtf guys, do you get paid by the switch?

I lived in the same house from age 4 to 11. There was a staircase leading from the living room to the downstairs area, but not quite the true basement. Anyway, on the right hand side of this staircase immediatley at the bottom was a bathroom. I had always thought that one door operated for both the starcase doorway and the bathroom doorway AT 90 DEGREES up until the year we moved out. That was when I learned that there were, in fact, two doors

Then there's the garbage disposal that you accidentally turn on at 3 in the morning.

And then there's that switch that does absofuckinglutely nothing.

My dad got so tired of me and my mom turning off/on the wrong light in our kitchen (one turns the kitchen light on, one turns the laundry room light on) that he actually made labels and stuck them underneath each switch. We still fuck it up.

I have 3 those and 2 that are 3 switches. I cant tell them apart

It took me twelve years, but I finally figured out which is which for both pairs like this in my house.

The one on the left is the left light switch and the one on the right is the right lightswitch
