It's fairly obvious why Romney wouldn't want to release his returns. A lot of people that don't know what they're talking about think he's hiding criminal activity, which is retarded considering that it's already visible to the IRS and would show up in his criminal record if he had done so. The real reason is that it's going to show that he is in fact rich (surprise!), but this will give Obama a fresh opportunity to crucify him for it. (since his last push to demonize him for being rich fizzled out)
