She was classy and sophisticated, where as Marilyn always played the dumb blonde character. She was sweet and charming and always looked skinny but not to the point where she was anorexic. I guess in that time,much like today, sexy women were more curvy and women like Audrey Hepburn didn't need to be curvy and floozy to be called beautiful. It is possible to find a hot curvy girls who's a total chubby chaser just as easily as finding a fat person who only wants fit person, (I actually went to highschool with a hot girl just like that, no I didn't hit that, I'm a total puss).
So for any women or men who think it's messed up that there are people out there with high expectations for a bf/gf, stop being so skeptical and for fucks sake don't be a hypocrite.

tetusic (08/19/2012) [-] Her weight fluctuated up and down throughout her entire career. For most of her career, she was quite curvy. Back then, it was considered to be sexy, but by today's standards, it would legitimately be considered fat unfortunately. I have mostly the same measurements as her, I'm just a bit tinier than her since I'm only 5 feet tall. Personally, I don't find myself or Marilyn Monroe to be fat (and I don't think Marilyn Monroe had ever been legitimately fat), but I'm happy with my appearance. I like being curvy. I don't see why people these days think curvy and fat go hand in hand.
