I just want to know how they wound up in this situation.
Where they taking pictures, and then the snake got hold of him? Or did they happen upon a snake in the middle of its lunch?
Maybe they brought the snake with them to make for better photos?

That's the tough thing about that type of photojournalism. Like that Kevin Carter, who took the famous photograph of the young girl about to die, with the vulture standing right behind her, just waiting... Carter later killed himself, because it haunted him knowing that there was simply nothing he could do. I couldn't even imagine...

Actually, the real story is that he snapped that famous photo AT a feeding station while the child's parents were busy getting food. The vultures around are just there to pick up scraps of food. After snapping a few photos of the girl, he chased that vulture away.

It is possible that the guy with the camera doesn't know how to take the snake off so he's recording the final moments (same goes for the guy who took this picture) or it could just be fake
